A daydream with an Aquarius
If I had to describe Ege, he would be a man I met in Portugal, in the Algarve. His star sign is Aquarius, in his mid-30s, sun-kissed, likes to wear discreet white gold jewelry, with which he also goes surfing. Decoratively, he uses a classic Rolex, but also likes to swap it for a Tudor. His clothes are always thoughtfully coordinated, he likes to end the weekend evenings in a chic beach restaurant with a few girls and surfer boys, where gin and mojito flows abundantly.

As I approach it, on my way to the beach bar, the remnants of a long day of surfing greet me, with lashing waves and bright sunshine. Salty, watery algae notes, laced with hints of smoke, permeate his white, beautifully flowing linen shirt, which, slightly open, unleashes his lush chest hair. I want to fall into his arms and stay. His scent is room-filling, always subtly perceptible in a sillage polite to his surroundings. This Ege I'm already admittedly a bit addicted, which I would never so openly confess to him, I do it in my very own way.

Ege - you are a great water man, take me and bring me to the wide sea.

Daydream end.

PS: A special Aquat, not the uniform mush but times from the row, also one with edge, which aneckt. "Love it or leave it" sums it up well! Better to try before.

Unfortunately, not a good aquat...
Yesterday arrived my bottling Ege. I was very excited about Ege, because I like Louis Vuitton Météore seht well and Ege is cited as similar here, it was clear to me that Ege must be tested.

The fragrance itself has for me nothing at all to do with Louis Vuitton Météore, which would actually be nothing bad. But Ege smells for unfortunately almost like the Garnier Hautklar facial toner against pimples, which there is in the supermarket or drugstore to buy. Anyone who has ever used such a toner will know the smell. For those who do not know it smells like salt, zinc and cucumber combined with chemicals. Ege has unfortunately 80% similarity with this facial toner. Ege still has a yuzu and frankincense note, but those can't change my mind either unfortunately. Maybe many here can't understand me, but I just don't want to smell like facial toner for pimples. It's possible that some people like Ege because they don't have to think about face lotion all the time.

The durability is very good 8-9 hours for an aquatic fragrance and also the silage leaves nothing to be desired.

Louis Vuitton Météore is but in this aquatic direction clearly my favorite. Against this Ege has for me unfortunately no chance.

"Balm for the soul"
The Ege somehow captivated me as soon as I read the scent pyramid! I could really imagine the direction it would take, and luckily I wasn't wrong. No, I was even pleasantly surprised!
After I had already made a blind buy of L'Homme Idéal Cool and was so impressed by the mint-aniseed combination, nothing could go wrong here either, in my opinion!
I ordered the bottle brand new in foil and have not regretted it to this day! Personally, I can't really understand the bad reviews and the comparison with cucumber and pickle water, but more on that later! It's all a matter of taste, but Ilias Ermenidis has definitely met my taste.

Opening:
The best thing about this fragrance is the opening! For me, it is as unique and incredibly pleasantly calming as the color green itself. That's why staff always wear green clothes in operating theatres, for example, because the color green has a demonstrably calming effect on the human psyche. So why not green fragrances too?

That's why it's all the more difficult for me to describe it. At the beginning, Ege starts with a delicious and also very natural, and Nishane typical, anise-mint mixture. This complex and, in my opinion, very successful creation doesn't just smell like liquorice as we know it from the supermarket! No, as with L'Homme Idéal Cool, it is an unmistakable and, in my opinion, unique composition.
This does not mean that the fragrances are very similar, but is only intended to point out the uniqueness of this classic mint and delicious aniseed combination.

Drydown:
Compared to L'Homme Idéal Cool, Ege is a much more complex and profound fragrance, with an incredible natural creaminess. For me, it absolutely fits the motto. I smell a warm sea breeze, green meadows and a never-ending balsam that drifts and drifts along the coast. Which brings us to the drydown!

Turquoise:
The color of the bottle is spot on. The fragrance is not green Green Irish Tweed and it is also not blue Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum. The Ege is actually turquoise, and I could swear that I see a little bit of both classics reflected in this very Ege a little but skillfully!

Conclusion:
In my opinion, Ege conveys an incredibly clean and Mediterranean fragrance experience. It still has the necessary warmth and freshness of a wonderful summer day on the coast by the sea. This is exactly how I imagine the scent of the wind on the Aegean Sea or the Turkish Riviera. Even though I've never been there myself, I've just looked at pictures of it again and I recognize the idea behind it. Definitely a spring and summer fragrance. Unisex with a slight tendency towards a men's fragrance. Kind of puts me in a vacation mood! Indescribably different, light and carefree, just like the vacation season. Balm for the soul!

Ege starts fresh and is irresistible in the opening! Rather linear in the drydown, but fragrantly balsamic. Initially also tangy sweet, which is probably a reference to the yuzu lemon. But also somehow spicy, which is probably due to the basil. I personally don't recognize the incense, but it certainly rounds off the entire work of art subtly, as I can well imagine.
Cucumber:
The cucumber vibes certainly come from the violet leaves, which simply smell different from violet flowers. Violet leaves convey green, watery and floral notes and nuances which, at first glance, are associated with the smell of cucumber. But on closer olfactory inspection, you quickly notice the subtle difference in my opinion.

For me as a "Freshie" and L'Homme Idéal Cool lover, the Ege was an absolute must and apparently love at first sight!
For me, Ege is a truly successful masterpiece that doesn't necessarily get the respect it deserves! Nevertheless, I recommend everyone to try it first, as the fragrance is different and not everyone will like it straight away. Or not everyone will like the scent! For me, the Ege will remain in permanent use for the time being!
Good work, Nishane!
Good work, Ilias Ermenidis!

Best summer fragrance from the house!
I just got my hands on this, and by far this is the best summer frag from the house!
Yes hacivat is much more potent and much more playful but let’s be honest how many hacivat vibe fragrances are out there? Even with club de nuit 20€ fragrance you can smell hacivat-ish!
Ege is much more subtle, doesn’t scream as loud although longevity is still pretty damn good.I find ege much more classy, much more unique much more interesting that hacivat.
the green and aquatic notes mix very good together the blend is to die for but i am going to mention this is not for everybody, unexperienced noses may find this very harsh but the ones that like it will never get rid of it.
Scent 9/10
Longevity 9/10
Projection 7/10
Value 8/10 because you can still find it for 120-140€ on the market.

Hate it or love it
Hello everyone,
Ege is a fragrance that you either love or hate. I smelled it and immediately thought I was by the sea. I just immediately felt like I was on vacation. Perfect for ultra hot summer days because the scent provides instant refreshment. However, if people tell me that they don't like the scent at all, I can understand that. It is very loud for a freshie and can quickly give you a headache if dosed incorrectly. So be careful with the dosage. Like all Nishane fragrances, Ege is a beast when it comes to longevity and sillage Wearing fragrances always has something to do with being perceived by others. You should therefore treat others with respect and not exaggerate. This generally applies to Ege in particular. Because probably not everyone loves it as much as I do.

Ege is a breeze coming from the Atlantic Ocean off the Portuguese coast. Aquatically fresh, subtle green, slightly algaey. Good performance.

Isn't this the same scent as Boszporusz? If you have that, you don't need to buy this. Salty/aquatic/green that lasts for a long time.
