Plays in the patchouli major league!
Similar to animal nuances; patchouli certainly does not like everyone.
And when the two come together, it rushes in the box...

I've always found patchouli in all possible gradations to be great - except for the patchouli perfume that you clapped on your poncho or band hoodie by the litre when you were completely grunge. But this has as little to do with real (or good) patch as Madonna has to do with a first-class actress.

What is beyond question is that you have to have a certain affinity with patchouli to enjoy Pachulí Kozha.
Even though this changes significantly in the course of the fragrance, PK is anything but cuddly patchouli for the time being.
Earthy he is. And dirty.
Wet. And greasy Wrapped in smoke and cabbage.

Shortly after spraying it on, it inevitably reminds me of Tobacco Oud Intense (the "fruit" note completely excluded).
I do not take chamomile (thank God?) at all. But I do notice a herbaceous-herbal note, which, mixed with frankincense, develops into real clouds of smoke.
A little cough drop also resonates, which makes the whole thing look a little "schnapsig" in between.
Cold, acrid clouds of smoke, which are contained by the earthy, moist patchouli;
where: rather kept in check than contained...

Even though PK cannot be compared to any other (patch) fragrance I know of, nuances appear again and again in the course of the fragrance, which remind me to some extent of other fragrances.
At the beginning it is the Tobacco Oud Intense - association, but the herbaceous-smoky note reminds me of Sandor 70's. This is also due to the fact that Pachulí Kozha also has something animal-horse-like about it. The darkest leather further enhances the impression However, I feel the fragrance is miles away from being called animalistic, as well as from being unwearable. Earthy and spicy it is already quite good.

The honey only really comes through on my skin in the absolute drydown. Wild, bittersweet honey. Makes everything a bit smoother and rounds off the fragrance completely. Plays on my skin however no carrying role
Unfortunately, in my opinion, many patch scents do not manage to put the patchouli in the right light or to play around.
I have already tested 100 felt, but despite my love for patchouli, abet possesses perhaps 4 "patchouli fragrances" Apparently citric notes are taken with pleasure, which then completely smear the patchouli. Or else patchouli in the form of a slap on it, which then again somehow reminds of black nail polish.

Pachulí Kozha does (for me) everything right Patchouli plays the leading role and the supporting actors also shine.
And they smoke and suck cough drops.

Beautiful Patchouli with floreal notes
Beautiful patchouli (not herthy patchouli, but a boozy patchouli) with floreal accord and a touch of incense leather balanced by honey notes. The note of chamomile and ylang ylang are also perceptible, when opened it almost seems to be boozy. Very persistent perfume, it has an excellent sillage and unrivaled quality/price. Highly recommended

I'm sorry but you're not one for me :-(
Many thanks to Niklas for the many Nishane samples :-) Unfortunately, the Pachulí Kozha is not my cup of tea at all. I didn't get any praise for it at work either, my best friend even said: "It smells really cheap and oriental". He was a bit shocked when I told him how much this perfume normally costs. In terms of longevity, it's really good at around 10 hours. The sillage? Difficult to judge, the fragrance was only judged on request. I think it's clear so far.

The top note is already very difficult for me. Labdanum hits right away and it smells like prunes and ribwort syrup - unfortunately, I don't like that at all. The heart note remains sweet, oriental but also floral thanks to chamomile, hyacinth and ylang-ylang. The base is still very sweet, yes, you have to think of blossom honey. Over time, a proper leatheriness emerges, which underlines the oriental character. Is there still incense? I'm not quite sure...

I'm distantly reminded of Bentley for Men Intense, which is precisely why I personally didn't like it that much. Well, there are better fragrances for me.

Nishane / Pachulí Kozha
The fragrance in my opinion is one of the best of this perfumery. When it comes to uniqueness, quality and projection, next to Ania, Spice Bazaar, Sultan Vetiver and African Olifant - the best.
To me it smells like darker patchouli combined with sooty incense leather and doused with balsamic honey. A very interesting and unique combination of fragrances in such a way that it is a warm, spicy, incense, and at the same time slightly sweet fragrance.
The scent has a large projection and the vitality is a real monster.
I highly RECOMMEND, at least MUST TRY.
Oh ... translated from Bulgarian and Turkish nomads - KOZHA is leather ;-)

A dream for seasoned patchouli lovers I A fragrance for true nature lovers
The Pachulí Kozha by Nishane is a special fragrance; yes special, because its focus is so extremely on the patchouli; not exactly surprising when you read the fragrance name. I actually like patchouli when it is well and discreetly crafted. Unfortunately, this fragrance was a little too patchouli-heavy for me personally, which is by no means objectively bad, but simply not my scent!
I think that Pachulí Kozha nevertheless deserves a good rating in isolation for what it should do, and for the following reason:

- The fragrance starts extremely intensely at the beginning with bright floral notes, with the patchouli kicking in very early on. However, the floral notes are accompanied by a tartness, with the patchouli quickly taking over.

- The fragrance becomes increasingly darker and darker, the earthy patchouli constantly bursts out and is only balanced by incense and leather in the drydown, so that an earthy, leathery patchouli base unfolds at the end. I only slightly perceive the honey, but I suspect that it also plays a role, because otherwise the fragrance would have become much darker and smokier. From start to finish, however, the patchouli is the main protagonist... and yes, this is rather masculine, strong, earthy, even tart...

- The H/S is definitely in the upper mid-range and is quite respectable. But this is to be expected with such patchouli-heavy and dark fragrances; nevertheless, this is not always the case.

To summarize, yes, the fragrance is a real treasure for patchouli lovers! The patchouli itself is excellently crafted and is also the main player in the fragrance. Nishane has also incorporated 1-2 twists here, with bright floral, balsamic aspects at the beginning and then leather and incense in the drydown - so yes, an exciting fragrance progression.

Definitely test in advance and definitely, but definitely, not a blind buy recommendation!

So nice! Warm, sweet, spicy. On opening, I smell honey, dried fruit, spices. Definitely makes me feel like I’m in a spice market.

Smooth earthy scent, kicked up with pepper and smoothed over with the slightly sweet hint of honey. Very good for those into earthy scents.

Beautiful patchouli, earthy, gourmand and spicy. Slightly smoky from incense, leathery, warm and sweet from honey that gives an ambery feel.

Can’t really smell it even when I over spray. Heavy on the vanilla. Love the bottle
