Tero by Nishane: A sensual journey
My first Nishane and I have no regrets! The opening of Tero is like the first bite of a salted caramel dessert. The salty sweetness of the caramel dances on the tongue, while the pepper adds a spicy note.
The heart note of Tero is like a mysterious forest in the fall. Patchouli exudes an earthy warmth, while the cinnamon breaks through the canopy like a ray of sunshine. I imagine walking along an old wooden walkway, surrounded by autumnal leaves and the scent of spices.
The DD is like a walk on the beach at night. The amber radiates a warm, golden glow, while the oak wood captures the salty sea air. The vetiver gives the fragrance depth and grounding - like standing barefoot in the sand and watching the waves.

Conclusion: For me, Tero is a sensual poem that reminds me that true beauty lies in the details - like the taste of salted caramel on the tongue or the sound of waves on the beach. As it is a warm fragrance, I would rather wear it at colder times of the year. The longevity is above average. Tero is a fragrance that takes the senses on a journey through taste, nature and memory.

Lightly salted caramel + spicy cinnamon
The Tero smells consistently good.
If you like sweet scents and notes such as cinnamon or tonka bean, as well as caramel, you will definitely like this fragrance.

The fragrance doesn't give off much, but that's perfectly fine.
At the beginning you simply get a caramel note that is slightly salty. This also lasts for a while and then it turns into a spicy cinnamon scent.
I also had the impression of perceiving the classic tonka bean, but this is apparently not included.

The fragrance is definitely unisex wearable and the current season is the best for Tero. The Tero is still unknown to some, so it would still be a small rarity.
I really like it!

A masterful blend of caramel and patchouli
When you first spray it on, you get a heavy waft of sweetness - this clearly opens as a gourmand scent. If you didn't look at the notes, you'd most likely expect some combination of caramel/toffee/burnt sugar, but there's a bitter edge to it at first and that's the other core component of this scent - the patchouli. This scent, in its entirety, is caramel-patchouli. There are other elements in the blend, but they won't be anywhere near as easy to separate - for example, you'll get some spices within the first 15-30 minutes which dissipate over time. The patchouli is not too earthy and the caramel overpowers it in the blend.

What I appreciate the most about scents like Tero is the uniqueness which is an interesting pun in this context, because the only scent in the niche market that smells anything like Tero, to me, is "Crush on Me" by Unique'e Luxury. Regarding comparables: on the other site, I saw people referring to Black Phantom. I have a bottle of Black Phantom and think it's a slight reach - BP in its entirety is a gourmand while this has certain alternative tones to it. As for the Crush on Me comparison, what you get with Crush on Me is 85-15 patchouli-caramel, giving that scent a clear masculine edge. Here I'd say we are around 45-55 patchouli-caramel, making it straight-down-the-middle unisex.

Performance is somewhere in the 90th percentile - there aren't that many niche gourmands pulling 10-12h nowadays. The scent is very airy, at least for 3 hours - optimal as a fall-winter fragrance and for open-air events. Pricing is in-line with what well-recognized gourmand brands (like Kilian) ask. Almost instantly after this review was written, the 100ml became available for €315. I subsequently added a bottle on the 19th of October.

Tero is a spicy gourmand with a dominant salty caramel, spiced with pepper, cardamom, cinnamon. In the drydown, a sweet patchouli and woods.

Very nichy! The green aspect of it reminds me a lot of Unutamam, like dialed up the caramel to 11 and stripped of the animalistic notes

Caramel yes but with only a subtle sweetness. Patchouli cinnamon adds some depth. Amber floats gently in the background

Densely sweet opening, spices with caramel and patchouli on skin. Spices fade in drydown, leaving sweet-woody-patchouli. Fall, unisex.

Absolutely not. A blast of spices, rugged and medicinal, that’s far too strong and overbearing.
