And it made Zoom...
The older generations among us will certainly be familiar with the quote from the headline. Back in 1984, Klaus Lage belted out "a thousand times touched, a thousand times nothing happened" to the mullet-helmeted and permed audience.

But this won't be the ultimate retro chart show and there won't be any Oliver Geissen sitting on a semi-circular sofa.
But what is the author of these lines getting at?

Well, there are fragrances that you have to smell yourself into first. It's work!
Because they deliberately make it difficult. This is sometimes part of the courtship ritual of a new fragrance.
First one or two careful sprays on a strip of paper before carefully applying something to the back of your hand or wrist and then shuffling through the brightly lit aisles of a drugstore or perfumery, lost in thought.
Optionally, the scent is held under the partner's nose at regular intervals with the introductory words "What do you think?".

How does the fragrance develop? Do I like the top note? The heart? The base? Smell it again.
Or take a test strip home and ponder on the couch what occasion and weather the fragrance is suitable for?

All of this... i didn't have any of that with Ramz Lattafa (Silver).
It immediately went "zoom"!
Sprayed it on my hand, smelled it and I was immediately floating on a pleasant wave of fragrance.
Admittedly, I don't know the "original" that the Ramz Lattafa (Silver) is supposed to be based on. That's why I don't fall into the tried and tested "that note is missing" and "this note is different".

On its own, it is a beautiful, warm yet fresh fragrance with a slightly oriental twist.
The now tried and tested cocktail of pear, mint, bergamot and lavender is a wonderful aperitif that whets the appetite for the main course with a quartet of vanilla, amber, musk and patchouli, framed by cardamom and sage.

Is it something special? It is for me.
Sure, it's nothing "niche" and not every fragrance has to be for me. Because it's not every day that offers a reason to push a complex, unwieldy keyboard of fragrance compositions and accords in front of you that sends one half of your fellow human beings into ecstasy and the other into horror.

Sometimes it has to be something "simple". And I don't mean that in a negative sense.

In the end, I believe that Ramz Lattafa (Silver) and I will become very good friends and will "Zoom" even more often.
Finally, without giving it a second thought, I reordered 2 bottles on backup.
Because at a price of EUR 12 for 100 ml, you can't go wrong.

Verstappen in a bottle!

Wow, what a great start! One of the best openings ever. I didn't expect that.
Opening:

Fruity, citrusy, minty. Complemented after a few minutes by a floral freshness. Young, attractive, but not necessarily youthful. Guaranteed to please almost everyone and bring compliments. A little shower gel-like and a distant cousin of Versace's Dylan Blue. I like it, but the Ramz has a fresher and more seductive opening.

After 20 minutes, it turns a little sweet and the vanilla becomes subtly perceptible. It wasn't necessarily needed. But it doesn't bother me either. Somehow it now reminds me of subtly light designer China oil with apple, pear, vanilla and herbs. If you sniff it up close, you can also detect some powdery wood.

As is unfortunately the case with many citrus openings, the effervescence and freshness fade after a while. Even Ramz is not spared this after 30 minutes, which was to be expected, but it is an incredible shame, as the opening was Hollywood-worthy. For 10 minutes it smelled a bit like a kind of fruity vanilla deodorant, which is not my thing at all. But I can forgive the brief lapse.

After that, it settles down well and could also be interesting for a woman from now on. It remains pleasantly fruity and fresh with lemon and bergamot, some pear, vanilla, amber, a subtle blend of Chinese oil mint, some herbs and all that with a floral, very slightly powdery shower gel flavor, also a very minimal marzipan-like scent when you smell it close to the skin. But nothing to be afraid of, it's barely perceptible.

If you don't try to analyze everything and just take a whiff, after an hour it smells a bit like chewed strawberry gum, but in a positive way. For a moment I thought it was drifting off into something stupid, but now it has actually caught on and is back on track. This makes it the perfect fresh all-rounder. A little bit of everything, not too much of anything. It's just not oriental for me at all.

Conclusion: It starts off great, gets off track very briefly, but then jogs stably to the finish. The longevity and sillage are good, the price is unbeatable at 13 euros. And it does what other similar 70 euro perfumes do. Elegant and yet versatile, it will land on me a few times in the future. A stable 8 over the course of the fragrance, but due to the grandiose opening, I give it an 8.5.

High-quality designer fragrance for 2 kebabs ???
The cheapest fragrance in my collection and yet one of the best? It's simply surreal that this fragrance doesn't cost 15 euros.

What we get here is a sweet and fruity fragrance that goes in the Ultra Mâle direction. But I don't want to compare it with this one, I really only want to talk about this fragrance here, which beats Ultra Mâle in terms of price-performance anyway.

Where was I? Exactly a sweet mint-vanilla fragrance, which is nevertheless not intrusive and simply always works. I wear it during sports, at work, when going out...it simply fits always and everywhere.

Performance is also really top and at the price you can spray a little more. The bottle is solid and high quality, only the lid is unfortunately made of plastic.

We get here from Lattafa what we are used to. Ridiculous prices for outstanding quality. It's funny what this brand is doing to the perfume world. Most of the Lattafa fragrances are better than the majority of designer fragrances, which often cost around 100 euros. The brand makes it possible for everyone to smell incredibly good, and we should be really grateful to our Arabian friends for that.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a wonderful everyday or gym fragrance, you will be very happy here for very little money!

Beautiful fragrance for everyone!
Rumz Silver by Lattafa was one of the first fragrances from this house that ended up in my collection.
I didn't even know then that it was supposed to be a clone of Ultra Male.
I was more attracted by the bottle and the scent notes.

It's unbelievable how the general fragrance scene has changed over the decades....where there used to be a lot of sultry fragrances and above all shallow freshies that dominated the market, today it's all unisex fragrances that are on everyone's lips and noses.

So for me, this fragrance is not just wearable for men, because women also like this fragrance profile.

For me, the fragrance starts slightly synthetic-fruity.
Then a synthetic sweetness is added and the lavender is already present.
Over time, the vanilla blends in more and more and the vanilla remains the defining fragrance element even with the lavender....until it fades out with a light vanilla sweetness.

A beautiful lavender-vanilla fragrance that is unisex for me.

The bottle with the sublime words like LOVE HOT COOL etc. is something special.
H&S are good average.

The P/L of this fragrance is also very good...and if you like sweet lavender fragrances, you can buy it without hesitation.

A Speck.. a Mist.. a Clone I Wist...
Yet another powerful non-oriental Clone from Lattafa in terms of longevity and projection. Long story short, this goes in the same vein of Versace Dreamer and 212 Sexy, the sweet vanilla/citrus/aromatic sexy scent. To be more precise, it is an identical clone of my old favorite Animale Animale, and perhaps the modern JPG Ultra Male. This fragrance exudes character. A good bang for the buck.
