I like this one;
It doesn’t have as much of the “Acqua Di Gio” genetics as the previous Profondo. Don’t get me wrong, it has similarities to Profondo, just not as much of the original ADG. It has a closer Bleu de Chanel feeling than it’s predecessor does as well.
A VERY citrus filled intro fades into a lighter feeling BDC EDT vibe. If you’re looking for absolute originality, look elsewhere, as this one borrows from a lot of fragrances that are already on the market.
The performance is good on my skin; I get a good 8 hours easily. The projection and sillage are good as well, being a hair lighter than the original Profondo, but still reaching an easy 3ft radius, and lingering in a nice trail.
The best way to sum it up in my opinion is this; it’s a combination. The original Profondo without the ADG vibes, combined with a more citrus filled BDC EDT. That is what Profondo Lights is. Nothing bad, but nothing “breathtaking”.
