It dances a little out of the SWY line and that is very interesting!
The Stronger With You Tobacco actually takes a very different approach to the other SWYs, although I've never tested the amber before.
This version here is significantly less sweet, has more spice and above all has a slightly smoky character, as well as this noticeable tobacco impact.
In the opening, the mix of pepper and cardamom is very clear to me. A certain sweetness already resonates, but much tamer than in the other versions.
After a relatively short time, a smoky veil immediately envelops everything.
The peppery notes, the cardamom and this certain sweetness are still perceptible, but everything is now slightly smoky.
The tobacco then also kicks in and this note actually comes across really well. In general, the interplay of these notes is quite good and, above all, gives a much more masculine impression than the previous flankers.
The chestnut is also recognizable or generally something nutty somewhere. However, this phase is generally somewhat "tart" due to the tobacco and, above all, the smoky touch. The nutty character therefore comes across as slightly burnt.
Towards the end, the "scratchiness" fades somewhat and the fragrance fades to an almost creamy, slightly sweet finish.
Nevertheless, this relatively rough tobacco and smokiness never completely goes away for me.
All in all, I really like this flanker. It is simply something different. Above all, that's a really positive thing to note, as I often know designer brands differently.
In terms of DNA, this is definitely a fragrance that could have been from a niche market.
On the negative side, it is relatively "thin" for me.
I actually imagined it would have much better longevity and, above all, sillage. In this respect, the other Stronger With You fragrances win for me.
But this fragrance is definitely worth a test and don't let yourself be ripped off with offers like 300€, which I have already discovered here in the Souk.
