You're doing a lot of things right for the price segment, but....
Hello everyone,

today I would like to say something about the Turathi (Blue) and something general about it.

I always find it very borderline in life when a company or a manufacturer makes a copy, whether we are talking about fragrances, clothing, bags or technology.

A one hundred percent 1:1 copy is not mathematically possible and it is also not wrong if a company xyz looks around the market and gets inspired and roughly reproduces this direction and adds their typical fragrance direction... as NISHANE sometimes does, for example.

AFNAN, on the other hand, is (very often) a copy company and there are also people who say - as long as it is cheap, everything is ok and I understand the people who think like that. It's just not mine (personal opinion). But what puts me off more than my way of thinking is the practical implementation....

I can see it coming ... hate incoming...

It is logical (!) that a 30€ fragrance does not have the GOODNESS of a 300€ to 700€ one, but there are other synthetic ingredients that get on your nerves and bother you less, this is exactly the WORD for it... there is a healthy balance for many things in life, you have to find it... However, it was not sought here...

To anyone (!) who likes it, it's all cool, I accept and respect it, it's just that the synthetics here are a bit too strong (noticeable) for me...

Test and if you like it - buy or ignore...

Is it worth it?

If you are looking for an inexpensive fragrance and don't want to or can't spend a lot, this is the right place for you. Because I think around €30 is ok - and it's probably also (much) better than some drugstore fragrances...

And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you are reading this review, LG the Benny

Fancy some mandarin extract?
Touted as a great summer fragrance, Turathi ended up in my shopping basket when I ordered a few summer fragrances. For €35, it's definitely a blind buy if you're looking for a fruit bomb. And by fruit bomb, I really mean a fruit bomb.

I would love to shower in this fragrance because when I spray it on, it feels like my nose is eating a tangerine, no fun. It's so fruity that I would like to change my font color to orange to express this fruitiness again. Let's just hope I don't get the idea to spray it in my mouth.

So if you don't like fruity fragrances, you should keep your distance here.
But if you love fruity fragrances, you're in good hands here and can stand out in public as a mandarin even without a costume. Durability and radiance are a solid 3+.

Like the Zara Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes also really good for younger people!

Fat announcement V
After months, there's another fat announcement. This time, the announcement is not just against a single fragrance, but against two. I'm talking about Bleu de Chanel (EdT) and Rosso Pompei by Tiziana Terenzi.

Fragrance:
The Blue begins its opening with a qualitative prelude. The mandarin paired with amber and musk stand out clearly, with no synthetic conspicuousness. On the contrary, it smells very natural, high-quality and sophisticated. It is as if a high-end niche fragrance has been sprayed on (although many niche fragrances even have synthetic openings). The fragrance develops into a citrusy clean ambroxan bomb within 30 minutes. Although ambroxan is not mentioned in the fragrance pyramid, the Blue makes it seem like it has an ample amount of it. The fragrance does what Bleu de Chanel is supposed to do - a clean citrusy-woody scent that is suitable for everyday wear. The Blue was probably inspired by Rosso Pompei or Tygar (Bvlgari). Nonetheless, the first spray reminded me of BdC and screamed "I'm better than him!". And indeed it is, as it brings a more defined citric-woody accord. Blue is far superior to BdC and a good and affordable alternative to Rosso Pompei and Tygar.

Shelf life:
It is perfect for summer because it lasts at least 5-7 hours on warm days. With the low price, you can of course carry it with you and spray it again as needed. Also gladly seen/smelled in the office.

Sillage:
The sillage makes a very good impression. You will get 2 types of reactions for this fragrance based on the sillage: Reaction 1: - None - | Reaction 2: - Your next ones will not be able to keep their noses off you. You will be annoyed as to why you smell so good. Intrusiveness pre-programmed - . There is nothing in between and I have had no other experiences. After 5 hours, however, the sillage (unfortunately) cools down. If the fragrance would only bring a full 10 hours of reaction no.2, then it would be my absolute signature fragrance.

Flacon:
The bottle is more creative than that of BdC, Rosso Pompei and Tygar. Honestly, where have you ever seen a bottle shaped like this? It is also beautifully heavy and elegantly printed. The sprayer also does a great job, because it doesn't hold back. You can already speak of a niche level. The OVP is also very successful, thanks to the beautifully soft box in which the Blue sleeps.

Big announcement:
If you like BdC, Rosso Pompei and Tygar, you definitely won't go wrong here. Especially at this price (currently around €34). The Blue is a better and higher-quality version of BdC (EdT) and also fulfills the requirement of being an all-rounder. It is very similar to Rosso and Tygar, but experienced noses would be able to smell the difference (although in my opinion, they shouldn't be worlds apart).

I love this tangerine Fanta DNA!
Some time ago, I smelled the Birkholz Portraits of Portofino at a friend's house and fell in love with it immediately The only thing I had criticized was the durability and sillage.

After browsing the net a bit, I came across this fragrance which is said to have a similar DNA.
And what can I say...
I was also blown away straight away.
It starts a little less citrusy than the Birkholz, but I notice the mandarin more.
It feels like it lasts longer and has a similar sillage.
But it may also be that this is because you are not stingy when spraying due to the price.
I think this is a beautiful fragrance and am also considering selling my Birkholz for it again because I will probably always wear this one in the future.
The bottle and box are also really very high quality for such a price.

Love goes out to the developers of this fragrance.

A great "chalternative"
I am still not sure enough about this but here I go. This is a very good fragrance for the money. I feel like this is an alternative for bleu de chanel more amplified on the citrus part.
The grapefruit is so intense that it feels almost like a rotten grapefruit. Too zesty, too pungent. Some will say that it's very synthetic actually. Close to the skin will be too scratchy to sniff. Even after 2 hours. The overall feeling, a woody, zesty and very sharp citrusy smell. Perhaps not a bad thing but I feel that the amplified citruses and zestiness from here can be too much for many users.
Anyway, for the price, you have a great presentation, heavy bottle, big solid box and a very pleasant overall smell.
I am sorry that I've set higher expectations about it because I was a bit dissapointed when I finally got it.
For me, the brown version is far superior to this. Better smell&quality overall.

Performance ? Good or very good we can say. Around 8 hours.
Projection pretty good also, it might overcome the projection of bleu de chanel and be better. I think it's better than chanel in the performance category but it doesn't have the same quality.
For the ordinary people, in the air this will smell pretty good and appealing.

Very good price for the value and the bottle is at least decent.
If you don't have where to test it, you can blind buy it for a very cheap price at times. Consider this not a clone of bleu de chanel but a reinterpretation of it, still woody, still masculine, still mass appeal but waaay more citrusy and somehow "sharper" for the nose.
Some of you will really love this.

As for the comparison with Bvlgari Tygar, I can't make any statement because I've never had the chance to smell it/test it.
As usual, I recommend you to try anything first before buying but if you are brave enough, any blind buy will do.

Overall : 7.9/10

Grapefruit and sweet mandarin in the opening. Tangy, creamy and woodsy with a smooth Ambroxan in the base. The performance is quite good.

Very nice grapefruit note dominates in the first few hours. Then as it dries down spicy notes come in. Last's long (>6h) and projects well.
