Pretty bouquet of flowers
Fragrance:
"LaFleur Bouquet" starts with tangy, sweet peach and lots of delicate, indefinable flowers. Peach recedes shortly after spraying and remains in the background throughout the fragrance. The blossoms gradually take center stage. The oakmoss, which has a rather delicate green appearance and is somewhat reminiscent of the smell of grass, also flashes through again and again. The composition is primarily floral and is underpinned by peach and green notes. Although it contains musk, the fragrance settles on the skin in the late drydown with a floral, powdery rather than creamy scent. The type of composition generally seems very familiar to me. It is a "clear" floral fragrance and, for me, is reminiscent of "Chloe" with an additional fruity twist. In my opinion, the fragrance has little recognition value, but is also correspondingly pleasing. All the fragrance components blend in well. To my nose, LaFleur Bouquet smells very high quality despite the low price and can keep up with current designer fragrances. In my opinion, it is not a special floral fragrance, but a very nice variation! A pretty bouquet of flowers! Longevity on my skin was around 4 hours and is therefore not outstanding. The sillage is rather skin-deep. For me, these are the two biggest weaknesses of this perfume. On the other hand, there are also people who like it a little more discreet. For these people, those supposed disadvantages might suit them well.
When? Where? Who?
Fans of clear, floral fragrances à la "Chloe" will most likely also like this fragrance. Very enchanting in spring. The composition smells classically floral and feminine and I find it suitable for every age group. I'm sure most women who like floral designer fragrances will like it. If anyone around you notices it, it will be in a positive way. It has no disruptive notes and is pleasing.
Definitely a nice everyday fragrance. It also goes well in the office if you want to blend in unobtrusively. In settings where you work closely with people and don't want to "bother" anyone with your perfume, the low sillage could also be an advantage. I'm thinking of care, hospitals, nurseries and schools. It doesn't last long working days from start to finish. Re-spray candidate.
#Mysterious Bouquet vs #La Fleur Bouquet
Unfortunately, I can't compare "LaFleur Bouquet" with "Fleur Narcotique" because I have never smelled "Fleur Narcotique". But there is a comparison with "Mystique Bouquet", because I found it difficult to decide on one of the fragrances when I bought it..
La Fleur Bouquet:
Scent: Delicate, floral, a little grassy, a little peach
S: rather close to the skin, even if you spray yourself completely
HB: on my skin for approx. 4 hours
Effect: designer character. Adult, elegant floral fragrance. Springtime feelings. Suitable for everyday wear. Pleasing! Perhaps also a little boring. Little recognition value. Nevertheless "beautiful".
Opinion of (my) fragrance grouch: "Quite good."
Mystique Bouquet:
Fragrance: Peach crumb tea with few flowers
S: 1m-2m, if you spray yourself completely
HB: on my skin for approx. 5 hours
Effect: niche character. Rather youthful. With lots of fruit through spring & summer. You have to like it! Test beforehand! Sometimes too sweet, no tart fragrance notes. Recognition value. Signature potential.
Opinion of (my) fragrance grouch: "Eww. Too sweet."
Comparative conclusion:
In my opinion, the fragrances develop in quite different directions. La Fleur Bouquet is a predominantly floral fragrance that is very pleasant. Mystique Bouquet, on the other hand, has predominantly fruity notes and is rather special. When it comes to blind purchases and gift recommendations, because the packaging and the low price really invite you to do so, then I would say that La Fleur Bouquet is a safer bet. With Mystique Bouquet, on the other hand, I would advise testing it first.
Conclusion:
If you like transparent floral fragrances à la Chloe, you can try La Fleur Bouquet with a clear conscience. This creation is so pleasing that it is even acceptable for my scent grouch, which is rather rare. The fragrance is subtle and not at all overpowering, so much so that I could even wear it with a migraine. For what it is, I like it very much.
