My personal compliment catcher
Like some people here, I smelled Delina Eau de Parfum, fell in love with it at first - and then I discovered the price.
Poof! That was that.
My heart was broken.
Why is it so outrageously expensive? And why do I want it so badly anyway?
So I went on a search. I trawled through pages, scoured social media from start to finish - and then I came across Souvenir Floral Bouquet.
The opinions were too varied, my desire for Delina too great.
All right then. Blind then... what could possibly go wrong?
The package arrived, I opened it... and then it blew me away.
Even from the box (not even from the bottle itself!) a fruity, floral fragrance wafts out. So I happily unpack it and hold this massive, heavy bottle in my hands. Admittedly, it takes some getting used to that you have to put it upside down and it almost cost him his life a few times... nevertheless, it is special.
After spraying it on for the first time, I didn't immediately realize whether the blind purchase had been a success...
It seems quite sour and a little green at first. I think that's the part that many people here find "biting". The acidity is already pronounced, that much is certain. I suspect that's the rhubarb I'm smelling. The bergamot also adds a lot of zing here. My nose searches in vain for lychee.
These notes subside a little, but the acidity remains perceptible. The rose joins in. Many, many roses.
The ones I smell are modern, pale pink roses. Not dark, mysterious ones, but very bright, cheerful and relatively loud pink roses. Together with the peony, this creates a very bright, cheerful picture. The lily of the valley also plays its part.
Musk supports this florality, while vanilla rounds it off as so often.
Overall, this results in a bright, sparkling, fresh and at the same time slightly sweet (it's not a sugar bomb!) bouquet that not only lasts and projects forever.
Longevity and sillage are not bad. My surroundings notice me very clearly.
I think whether the fragrance suits you or not is, as always, a matter of type.
I really like it now, but I was also skeptical for a very long time as to whether we would become friends.
We have become friends! And have received a lot of compliments for it. In the clothes store from strangers, in the office, on the street. Crazy, isn't it?
For me, it's worth a try for all Delina Eau de Parfum lovers. I personally found a great alternative here at a fraction of the original price. Souvenir Floral Bouquet is Delina for me in overall louder. It doesn't have a note that bothered me in my head in the "original" and is therefore even the better choice for me...
