Guerlain the house of the past, the present and ;)
Hello everyone,
today I would like to give a house (Guerlain) the LOVE it deserves. Because it is a niche house in the designer sector with a niche quality in a designer coat. Back then, there was only CHANEL, which was in the same league as Guerlain, if we look purely at the quality and the goodness + the really high quality of the fragrance oils (and, incidentally, the fine-tuning).
For me there is no better house next to CHANEL up to 100€, this only mentioned in passing.
(Their Privee line is something completely different, also in terms of price!)
Now to "L'Homme Idéal (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" :
It is not a summer and midsummer fragrance, but otherwise it is one of the best "safe" in the cheaper range. Whether in the office, on a date, at the disco, in a restaurant or, for example, at family celebrations...
This gentle sweetness of vanilla/tonka bean and cherry + the leather notes and in the background this light spiciness and this subtle floral style... = almost really perfect and for the price I honestly find it very difficult to find something to "complain" about.
H/S ever good and for those who want more I recommend (as almost always) the "Molecule 01 | Escentric Molecules" and he will be more than happy.
You have to know HIM!
If I really wasn't convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!

It took 4 years with us, but now...
Hello everyone,
it is not possible to summarize a fragrance like "FM The Perfume | Roja Parfums" in 1, 2 words and I will tell you why!
Every year I have a "fragrance round" with some fragrance friends, where everyone brings 10 to 20 samples, where at best the others present do not yet know and then we philosophize. 2020 I smelled it for the first time and my feeling on the test strip / or a fragrance flower made of paper was so-so... and when I heard what it costs new... - hell no!
in 2022, I smelled it again as an add-on in the souk and it didn't sparkle there either!
A few weeks ago (roughly a month ago) I received another sample as a gift and that's where the review begins!
How does it smell/how does it develop?
Before I start with the actual review - a quick general comment. There are some (myself included) who find it strange or difficult when a manufacturer only creates a fragrance in cooperation with a fragrance house / a sports house or who knows what.
But why?
90% of them are quite boring, very mass-compatible / pleasing and usually not worth the certain surcharge, but everyone has to decide for themselves!
But now this!
It's fruity, almost sour due to the authentic lemon and then comes the power of the peach - AWESOME! Since the "Bitter Peach (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" I am not a friend of the fragrance..., okay my 2018's "XXY | XerJoff" saved it a bit, but my LOVE was almost no longer really there!
Then comes a real LOT of flowers, a real sea of flowers, but 0.0% disturbing and fortunately for me no jasmine - Sambac, but Grasse - jasmine!
Why am I saying this?
I am allergic to jasmine - Sambac, with difficulty breathing (but properly)!
BUT what resonates all the time, even in the opening, is the BIBERGEIL. It gives the fragrance something wonderfully dirty - slightly evil and by the way, it's insanely complex!
Even my wife, who likes it much less than I do - likes it very much and I can only say openly and honestly that one day (sooner or later) I will grab a remaining bottle of it.
Give it a chance, because it deserves it!
A tip from me: test it on your skin and NOT on the fragrance strip or judge it by the spray head. It really works its magic on the skin and I was really stunned by the massive difference!
And that alone was also the reason why I NEVER declared it as good, because I never tested it on the skin and that turned out to be a very big mistake..., unfortunately.

When and where?
In my opinion, it's not a fragrance that you wear "daily", but one for really special occasions! If you were to wear it more often, its charm and magic would evaporate. I really like it VERY much, because it's somehow different like so many others!
How does it go down?
I wouldn't have been at all surprised if some people had said - "Benny please go..., far away" because castoreum is usually anything but well received, but here it's the complete opposite! Even people who don't wear or like fragrances arrive and say "WOW... i would take that too...., that says a lot!"

world class in 1971 and today...
Hello everyone,
i already know the old Chanel from back then, not myself, but I know it well from 2000 onwards (my mom's signature). And can possibly give you some useful information about this.
When I read/hear things like CHYPRE (+green and for women) nowadays, I find it exciting, timeless ....., but many people probably 99.9% of the time THINK of an OMI fragrance and if most of them then read CHANEL, then most of them have already (mentally) drawn a picture..., but that doesn't even begin to do it justice.
In my opinion, it goes without saying that no 16-year-old girl should wear this fragrance, but from the age of 25 it is so clear. This fragrance is a complex masterpiece. It was really good back then (over 20 years ago) and is still just as good today.
If a woman wants to go different ways and wants to stand out from the crowd and doesn't have a "BOCK" for flowery, creamy, super sweet (90% like all women's fragrances) I can only recommend this one. It's green - refreshing, sparkling, subtly floral and an insanely beautiful chypre with a green soul in a feminine guise. For me, it's a timeless classic with an extreme QUEENESS from CHANEL.
In a certain and appropriate dosage, it always goes and always fits, (when, where) = really always. Because it is so special and stands out + that I have this connection, it will always be + remain special for me!

A short and honest opinion....
Hello everyone,
late today I would like to dedicate myself to "Gabrielle Chanel Parfum | Chanel".
I'll say it briefly, honestly and painlessly..., if we TALK about the normal "Gabrielle Chanel (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel", then it was one of those fragrances that you somehow didn't need...
What exactly do I mean by that?
It seemed a bit unfinished or superfluous. There are sooooo many great fragrances from the house for women and then there was the "Gabrielle Chanel (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel" ... well!
Now we come to "Gabrielle Chanel Parfum | Chanel" and CHANEL has once again proven its master class! Light floral, creamy with a subtle sweetness = the house can really do this incredibly well and has been doing so for xx years.
Longevity is very good and if we are talking about hours, then we are in the 9h to 10h range and sometimes a little more and if that is "too little" for you, I can recommend "Molecule 01 | Escentric Molecules"!
And sillage is somewhat weaker due to the concentration, but I always see that more as an advantage!
Who/when/where!
Who: From 25 to 30 (upwards)
When: Except for summer + midsummer, he almost always goes.
Where: He practically goes, not necessarily for sports, but otherwise he is very versatile ;).
My wife would like to get it at some point because we really liked it!

i realize that this review is probably not "the broad MASS" and the people who already have it, were allowed to see it or even smell it... there won't be many. I know all that - of course!
I was one of those who received a (larger) sample back then and I had the privilege of "exploring" it. Nowadays this fragrance is almost a unicorn and that after only 3 years - to see one .... = very very rare and to really get hold of one "no way" and apart from that, if you do see one, then we're talking about 12€ to 15€ per ml.
Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it. In addition to the fragrance and the great OVP, you clearly pay the surcharge for the "limited edition" on top...
A few days ago, I was lucky enough to own a bottle (and no longer have a sample).
I also know the normal/cheaper "Manhattan (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums" really well (since day one) and can also make a very good comparison in this respect.
And so begins the actual review!
Right at the BEGINNING.
Yes, they are similar, even very similar and yes, there are differences - even noticeable ones, but they are more subtleties/nuances in the sense that some fragrances are more pronounced than others and others are weaker than others.
For example, the lavender is much more pronounced in "Manhattan (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums" and the whole fragrance is brighter, clearer and softer and "differently" more pleasing than in "Manhattan (Parfum) | Roja Parfums"
It is darker, fuller, denser and very captivating in a positive sense. It looks like a typical cocktail evening, bar fragrance of the 20's or 30's in New York. As far as I know, that was the inspiration for it. And the vibe is there and it really fits perfectly into this image.
It has less lavender, less musk and generally less of these (soft and light) floral notes. The noticeable focus of "Manhattan (Parfum) | Roja Parfum" is more (and this is the biggest difference in my opinion) spicy - resinous, slightly woody, slightly smoky (drydown significantly more) and then creamy at the end. It is never sweet or too sweet, it is subtle and very discreet = fitting. I found the "Manhattan (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums" to be too sweet at times.

I don't want to create false expectations or anything else, but after 8h to 9h and with luck 10h are inside in terms of durability and the sillage is very strong for 30min and then it goes down to the 1m to 2m range and the "Manhattan (Parfum) | Roja Parfums" becomes a very nice "close to the skin fragrance" after 4h
How is it received + when and where to recommend it?
Then as now = 1A. I find it really mega mega beautiful and for this area cocktail evening, bar or nice dinner is one of the "BEST and most suitable" I know. My wife loves it very much and if SHE loves it and I do too = everything done right, because happy wife, happy life".
Nowadays I really wish there was something exactly like this again, because it really is more than fantastic!
