Yummy!
The composition has appealed to me directly. Tangerine, orange, chocolate and then also vanilla - I was very taken. However, my thoughts were torn - if the fragrance is well composed: a dream, but it can also quickly become an all overlapping nightmare. So straight to EssenceVitae, into the souk and ordered 3ml to try. Luckily I was not disappointed, a magical chocolate-orange dream! Perfectly matched, pleases my nose immensely. I smelled it on my skin all day, on my clothes even the next day like freshly sprayed on. So if you like chocolate and orange, you won't be disappointed with this scent at all! ?

A visit to the fair..
When I was once again looking for a yummy gourmand, I came across this dream of a scent...I thought of these softcakes while reading...from a star kitchen...orange jam on a buttery soft biscuit...doused in chocolate...I had to think about buying this scent blind for a few days...just because of the price...I did...it came...OMG it was exactly how I imagined it!!!! Even better in fact!
So I apply this doozy on my skin for the first time and leave my house...I meet the first people/friends...they started talking about my scent :D "Jasmine, you smell unbelievably delicious!" "Jasmine, what is that???" "Jasmine, you smell like you're at a fair, like a cotton candy stand"!
To me, those are the best compliments on a perfume! You smell good enough to eat!

A masterpiece of the senses
What a symphony.

The Xerjoff Symphonium typically comes in a finely lined, white leather box. The bottle bears a beautiful opal. Simply beautiful.

The fragrance itself is incredibly complex, superbly created and yet completely rounded and authentic thanks to this unique composition.

Freshly sprayed on, the Symphonium starts with a great orange. Here you can smell a mix of fruit and slightly bitter peel. Both are absolutely realistic and wonderfully subtle. The chocolate enters the stage immediately. It starts out bittersweet, but turns into a fine milk chocolate after a few hours.

Roughly speaking, the opening of Symphonium can be described as an extremely high-quality and luxurious Jaffa Cake. This mix of chocolate and orange actually comes very close to jelly cookies, but is of course many times more beautiful, elegant and sophisticated.

The fragrance has a clear presence, but is not screamingly loud. You are pleasantly noticed and always in a positive way. The fragrance is of course very unisex.

In the DD, which sets in on my skin after 8 hours, the fragrance becomes creamier and sweeter. The dark chocolate becomes milk chocolate and the slightly bitter orange combines with vanilla and reminds me of a very luxurious bath foam. Again, this smells absolutely elegant and mouth-watering.

A fantastic fragrance created with love and dedication. Super wearable, unisex and something very special. I am very happy to have bought a bottle after a larger sample.

Definitely try it out!
P.s.: You can't really smell the oud (which is probably used in very large quantities for the fragrance) as oud. All the ingredients are interwoven and a perfectly rounded blend.

A symphony to fall in love with... or to bite into :).

Animal softcake
After all the praise for this fragrance, I naturally had to get hold of a sample straight away. No sooner said than done, I soon had the first spray on my arm.

First reaction... Whew, what is that? I smell chocolate and orange, but what I notice most is stalky animalic.... a lot of it.
Of course I wait and see, you don't give up straight away. But after a few hours and another test the next day, I have to say, too bad, you won't find a place in my collection.

Nevertheless, anyone who likes sweet, animalic fragrances will definitely be happy with this perfume.

Gourmand? Yes!
Symphonium is a really nice gourmand. It reminds me of some kind of candy.
This slightly tart chocolate impression paired with a delicious orange sounds familiar to me and is really cool.

The fragrance starts directly with this strong, delicious, tart chocolatey note paired with a little orange. For me, both accords clearly carry through to the end. For me, they are the two stars of the fragrance.

Over time, however, the chocolate becomes a little softer, smoother and creamier. It melts into the orange. The orange now also seems a little fruitier in general. This is probably because the chocolate no longer comes across as quite so "dense" and strong.

I also have the impression of perceiving a light floral note here and there.
I think I can catch very soft, light floral notes, although they are not listed. Perhaps the impression is created by the musk used.

A few woody elements are also added towards the end.
However, I don't get the impression of an animalistic scent at all! In my opinion, there is definitely no cowshed or anything else I have heard in Symphonium. I don't quite understand these opinions, but well, fragrances are subjective. Crazy.

The performance is good in my eyes. I consider 9-10 hours to be completely sufficient and good. I definitely don't need more than that. Of course, it does get a little weaker and skin-tight over time, but that's still perfectly fine.
