It seems that if lavender dominates, there should be a cold composition. But the brilliant perfumer Ernest Daltroff managed to unite the battle between cold and warm notes in one composition. Lavender is responsible for the coolness and vanilla and tonka beans are responsible for the hot, warm, passionate accord. And these two waves colliding create such drama and interest that this composition could not go unnoticed.
This fragrance is considered a masterpiece of the 30s.
The first one that said it was for men. And now it's already 90 years old! But it is wonderful.

This year, Dolce Vita by Dior celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The perfume was released in the 90s (1994).
Thirty years is a long time.

The story goes that Dolce Vita was born thanks to another famous perfume, Feminite du Bois. Dolce Vita was created by Pierre Bourdon for Serge Lutens' own brand (when he left Shiseido and opened his own boutique in Paris) and was one of the versions of Feminite du Bois that was discarded during the development phase. Pierre Bourdon and Maurice Roger later used this formula for the Dior fragrance.

Dolce Vita is neither the most spectacular nor the most complex of Dior's fragrances, but it has stood the test of time even better than Poison. It is about the extremely inviting and less dramatic character of Dolce Vita.

Dolce Vita remained the brand's absolute bestseller for several years in a row. It was eclipsed only by the unprecedented commercial success of Hypnotic Poison.

The aroma exudes friendliness, positivity, playfulness, inner light and happiness. This is a calm and pleasant fragrance, but at the same time bright and confident. Very beautiful.

I recently discovered the Montclair brand. Many people know it as a brand that specializes in sportswear and bomber jackets.
But recently they have launched a perfume line that is quite good. This is a unique perfume. Narciso Rodriguez talked about the sexuality of the female body in a dress. Moncler pour Femme is the embodiment of the female body in bed.
This is an incredibly beautiful, powdery, transparent and yet very soft composition that perfectly matches the sensations of women's skin.
Of course, everyone has their own personal take on this scent and possibly personal experiences. But for me, this particular profile is feminine.
And it smells like a heliotrope accord combined with soft, physical musky notes. It is complemented by an accord of bergamot and snow. Surprisingly, perfumer Quentin Bisch managed to convey a light freshness and texture.
Basically, this composition can also be considered a body amber composition. Light amber conveys the feeling of feminine skin.
The Moncler brand is not so well known. And if you want to surprise someone, then this is the ideal option.
This is also an ideal option for those who prefer nude perfumes, colorless eyeshadows and light shades.

I tried this fragrance carefully.
First I bought bottling. Recently, I finally received a bottle of Christian Dior Poison - vintage "Gift". There is a little residue in the bottle. In the case of Poison, by "vintage" I mean the pre-rock formulation that turned smoky, dark gothic plum into grape soda.

The reformulation took place somewhere in the mid-2000s.
Correct me if anyone knows better.
Around the same time, the massive oval bottle was transformed into a round apple, the words "Christian Dior" were reduced to the surname "Dior" and the words "Eau de Toilette" disappeared completely.

The address also changed.
Until 1990 - 1991: 30 Avenue Hoche, Paris.

Regarding batch code. For example, if there are 5 characters (number, letter, number, number, number), then it was published before 1998!
The first digit always indicates the year.

The classic Poison is quite well preserved. Stays long lasting, loud, sillage, rich and intense. And the older it is, the more beautiful I find it.

The aroma is very strong. I use it sparingly, just as armor for another difficult day, to withstand the onslaught of life's trials and not break from them. Therefore, the rest in the bottle lasts me a long time.

I like the vintage Poison better than the new one. But the important thing is that it is at least made that way. And new generations discover new facets of a wonderful flavor.
But if possible, get to know the great vintage Poison.

The perfume was created by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur.
This is a student of the famous perfumer Michel Almairac, who shared his extensive knowledge and experience with her.
Lancesseur's approach has a strong preference for woody scents such as patchouli and vetiver, which evoke memories of her time in the French countryside.

The Gres Madame Gres perfume has everything to become a classic - thoroughly sophisticated modernity with some refined retro, moderate sweetness and moderate fruity notes, an appropriate spiciness and unique leather tones that blend with the body odor and create an individual aroma.

Therefore, you need to apply the perfume directly to the skin, bypassing the blotter. I liked it best listening from my wrist. The scent of perfume on skin and clothing is very different. And when you apply perfume to your skin or hair, you can tell exactly if that perfume is right for you.

A characteristic feature of Madame Gre's work was her penchant for "living clothes", that is, making clothes from silk and wool, her favorite materials, but without patterns, directly on the model. Cardboard with a convex pleated pattern of an evening gown is reminiscent of the magnificent Madame Gres.

The perfume is feminine and versatile: it can be worn in the evening or at the office. Sounds much more expensive than it actually costs.
This is a very affordable luxury of high quality!
The whole apartment is filled with a spray of perfume.

Juicy fruits in the head, spicy cardamom and just great doses of sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla. Sweet, rich and interesting. This is a wonderful true representative of French perfumery.

While the opening is such that its freshness and fruitiness can give a false impression, the base is beautifully done.

Incidentally, it blends well with leather and suede fragrances.

Overall, a very underrated fragrance.

It's good for the cool season for those who love sweet, fruity aromas with a good classic sound. It smells best in the fall, warm and cozy, with more vanilla, but in the winter it becomes more patchouli and spiky.

The silage is rich, you can even get a compliment, but the owner herself can be strangled. Therefore, a purchase is recommended only after testing.

Yes, an old-school style perfume. But that's exactly what appealed to me. Now, how many of these cookies and cakes can you have? And here everything is as it should be, the smell of perfume, not food.

The box and the bottle without the cap resemble the old Serge Lutens design. A beautiful apricot-colored bottle and a sunny golden liquid.
