Fresh spiciness with pleasant herbs and a slightly blue freshness

Another comment on a Roberto Ugolini. With 12 fragrances, this brand is quite manageable, which is not a bad thing. Alongside Giardino di Boboli, 17 Rosso and Marzocco, it is number 4 in my collection. It's also a really interesting one, as it covers the topic of fresh everyday fragrances. It's a dime a dozen, but if you're looking for a classy freshie with a lot of staying power, this is the one for you. Not rated top here at 7.6, but as we all know, tastes differ. You can also see this in the statement section.

This brand is marketed by The Nose Behind. Like all fragrances, it comes in orange packaging that can be opened. The RRP of 194€ is clearly too high, but if you look around you can get it for 50-60€ less. That's okay, because you get a great fresh and spicy fragrance with real power.
Blue Suede Shoes have nothing to do with this fragrance, of course. The blue leather shoes probably allude to the Ugolini family's shoe business. This fragrance is clearly fresh and spicy and you won't find any leather here.

As I said, there is also a lot of criticism in the statements and many find this fragrance boring. I can't agree with that. Of course, these typical "daily drivers" with freshness tend to be a little more down-to-earth, but this one has an interesting blend of blue freshness and pungent spiciness with fine herbs. Many people also report many compliments, which I can well imagine with this fragrance DNA. The fragrance is classy and this concise spiciness remains in the memory. It is apparently often compared here with Bleu de Chanel. I can't see any similarities, but they go in the same direction. There is definitely a lot more spice here.
You get a lot of spice right from the start. A pleasantly peppery spiciness with fine fresh herbs. The freshness is like a mixture of citrus and blue shower gel freshness. The classic lavender note is also involved, which is simply clean and goes well with the fresh spiciness. Spicy aniseed also adds to the herbaceous freshness. Wood is of course not neglected in this combo, especially after 1-2 hours this fragrance becomes very woody, which is of course more noticeable on drydown. However, the fresh, herbaceous spice takes the leading role for 4-5 hours before it becomes woody and patchouli spice appears. For me, the composition is very harmonious and a great blend of freshness, spice, shower gel, herbs, wood and also a very subtle sweetness.
One of the best things about this fragrance is the performance. Without this, the fragrance would probably have disappeared into oblivion. You get a freshie that is suitable for everyday use and easily lasts the entire working day. The sillage is also convincing across the board and will stand out positively in everyday life.
This fragrance seems to appeal more to men, despite being unisex. I don't find it unwearable for women, but in my opinion there are more suitable fragrances for women for everyday wear. But for ladies with a preference for fresh spice, this is not entirely wrong either.

Blindbuys are less suitable here, especially as many people are talking about Bleu de Chanel. It has something of its own that not everyone will like. For me, a top choice for everyday wear in mild to warm temperatures.
