Real coffee at last! :)
I don't have too much experience with coffee fragrances, but the ones I know are more like a light latte macchiato.
Amore Caffe really has a real coffee bean note, which I personally really like.
As it progresses, it becomes sweeter and more gourmand thanks to the vanilla, without becoming too sticky.
Even the speculoos note is beautifully cinnamony/spicy.
Amaretto is not so perceptible for me.
The fragrance is actually reminiscent of a dessert with coffee and is therefore totally recommendable, especially if you like strong coffee.

The longevity is in the upper middle range, but the sillage seems a little weaker to me than one is used to from other Mancera fragrances.
I'm still really impressed :)

Espresso instead of latte
The fragrance starts with a very strong coffee bean note, I also perceive a slight licorice note at the beginning.
As it progresses, it then becomes a little creamier and the vanilla ice cream comes out a little, but still the coffee bean remains the main actor.
Speculoos I do not perceive at all.
In itself a beautiful unisex fragrance,
well portable for women and men.

Italian nights
Touted as the perfume that smells like a perfect Italian affrogato with vanilla ice cream, Amore Caffè landed straight in my shopping cart in the 120ml version. Click, click, bought. First Mancera fragrance in my collection, great anticipation.

One day later it arrived, even the color reminds me a bit of the crema of a freshly brewed espresso. The first spray immediately reminded me of Baccarat Rouge - panic, please don't. I had to stick my nose into a packet of fresh coffee beans. The perfume was advertised as an alternative to Escapade Gourmande, so I was expecting a sweet, slightly smoky vanilla.

Amore Caffè is tart like an Italian espresso, the vanilla dark, mysterious. I like that it has no floral or fruity notes to distract from its dark accents. Only after the dry down (1-2h) does the fragrance become creamier and softer. However, it never completely loses its tart side, enveloping you like a dark, mysterious cloud. After 3-4 hours, it becomes a sweet, close-to-the-skin fragrance. Perhaps the comparison with Escapade Gourmande is apt here. For me, Amore Caffè is not a gourmand fragrance à Bianco Latte or Milk's Note, where you fleetingly think "who baked cookies here?" as you walk past. Amore Caffè is a grown-up love of coffee that can even include a splash of rum. The perfume needs to mature a little in the bottle, like a French champagne that ages and gains in variety.

Amore Caffè is not a sweet Starbucks Frappuccino but a real Italian espresso after a speedy Vespa ride across the piazza. With a dark character and charm that simply makes you turn your head.

Authentic & delicious (except for the amaretto)
An authentic coffee fragrance at last!
Of course, I haven't tested all coffee fragrances, but this one is by far the strongest when it comes to coffee notes.

As a coffee fan, I had to order and test the fragrance blind:

The coffee is in the foreground, it is strong and "black".
The fragrance notes are "edible" (apart from ambergris) and this is also reflected in the scent.
A beautiful gourmand fragrance!

The fragrance is inspired by the dessert affogato: espresso with vanilla ice cream.
That's exactly how it smells: delicious, creamy and sweet.

The brown sugar gives it a slight caramel scent. The amaretto note is noticeable for a long time without masking the coffee scent. However, I find that the amaretto note makes the fragrance a little synthetic, which is a shame.
Some reviews have written that the fragrance smells like licorice (which I can confirm). I think this is due to the amaretto. It's not bad, it's spicy and slightly boozy. But it could have been more authentic and weaker at the same time, in my opinion.
I imagine I smell a little speculoos, as I detect something cinnamony. According to the Mancera website, there is "a hint of speculoos" in the heart note. Although speculoos doesn't belong in a dessert, I would have found the scent exciting!

A beautiful, tart and creamy gourmand fragrance that is great for the colder days!

Sweet coffee with a dash of Amaretto
Mancera once again manages to attract a lot of people with its fragrance name and pyramid. Similar to Tonka Cola, people become quite curious and many risk a blind buy. Good marketing, I would say. Mancera almost always meets my taste anyway: appealing fragrances, great performance and not too special like many niche brands. Just like a balancing act between niche and designer, also in terms of price.

I've always found coffee fragrances very exciting. Of course, this one doesn't go in the natural coffee direction, as you can see from the pyramid. Nevertheless, the coffee note is very present. First and foremost, it is a sweet gourmand. The gourmand notes are already in the foreground, although this coffee start already seems quite bitter-sweet and a lot of coffee is present. If you want a rough idea of where the journey is heading: Intense Cafe is certainly a role model, although the rose has to be completely omitted here. Instead, an amaretto note has been added at the start, which goes perfectly with the gourmand coffee note with its boozy notes.
This fragrance gets off to a great start with this tart coffee note, paired with lots of vanilla sweetness and boozy amaretto. This liqueur note is convincing and harmonizes with this vanilla coffee. Speculoos is also subtly present and has a slightly cinnamony vibe. Very pleasant. The brown sugar is also present. I've always liked the smell of brown sugar and here the sugar note is more caramel-sweet. Overall, this fragrance is not a revolution in fragrance history, but a really pleasant, cozy scent that will go down well. Anyone looking for an alternative to Intense Cafe will find it here. Although it is not a fragrance twin, it is also very much in the coffee and gourmand vein. A great theme that is sure to work on cool days and in the evening.
Performance here is as good as with almost all Mancera's. Expected for gourmand fragrances like this one though. Lasting 10+ hours, pleasant sillage and not too penetrating like the Intense Cafe. You definitely get noticed.

All in all, once again a great release that those with a sweet tooth will find difficult to avoid. At least one test should be included with this Amore Caffe. A harmonious gourmand.
