A generic floral that's inoffensive enough
If Flora Gorgeous Jasmine and J'adore Eau de Parfum had a cousin, this would probably be it. Florist starts out with a nice spray of fruity florals, with the sweetest pear and the lovely citrus coming out to greet you, reminscent of J'adore's opening. Everything fades rather (unfortunately) quickly to be replaced by a semi creamy, semi indolic jasmine, quite reminscent of Flora Gorgeous Jasmine. The perfume end up being a mix of the two aforementioned, with an emphasis placed on the floral aspect. A woody and warm scent with a slight tinge of synthetic accent ends up washing away the fruity floral and the perfume kind of ends up being its base notes for the longest time.
It's a lovely, inoffensive perfume for when you want to wear something light and feminine-leaning but... There's not much more to it. It certainly isn't an innovation. If you already have either of the two designer fragrance I've previously mentioned, you certainly don't need this one. It's a great alternative to designer frags which can be quite costly (and Ellis' bottles are always bright cheerful colors), but the perfume is marred by the base notes which are way too strong. I'm a bit disapointed in the generic aspect of this perfume as I know Ellis brews nice juices, but this one wasn't it.
