From summer drinks in a deckchair to perfumed wood
Daï Quiri starts with a strong lime, together with the grapefruit I get a really tangy, slightly alcoholic opening. The maritime notes are clearly recognizable and underline the citrus fruits with an airy freshness.
After around 20 minutes, the fragrance becomes sweet and fruity. I can smell pineapple and melon. Unfortunately, there is nothing left of the martime notes on my skin (and I really regret that!).
Sparkling sherbet vibes are reaching me now, there's something relaxed and summery about it: perhaps a daiquiri in a deckchair?
Then the fragrance develops on my skin in a very perfumey way, which I associate with a certain heaviness. The feeling of summer, lightness and effervescence is lost and the overall impression is somehow incongruous for me.
Woods provide a smoky base, but the musk keeps it somehow fluffy.
The durability is not particularly good for me, after 2 hours I can only perceive a hint.
I would like the tingling lime with the pineapple to last longer, it convinced me together with the martime notes. If I could separate the fragrance into two parts, I would like to keep the first part. That way, I can use up my sample over the summer and keep the opening in good memory.
