Spicy-sweet fragrance for the whole year
Saint Tropez by Birkholz manages to create a peppery, spicy fragrance with a certain sweetness, woody elements and incense that can be worn all year round.

The fragrance starts directly spicy-sweetish, quite warm and pleasantly incensey.
The pepper note is present, but not too strong and above all pleasing. In addition, you immediately sense a general spicy-warm flair.

From the description, this sounds like a fragrance for the colder months of the year But that's not quite the case, because it also contains a hidden freshness that makes the fragrance work wonderfully all year round. Whether cold or warm, Saint Tropez works.

Over time, the lavender also comes through super nicely.
But it's a very pleasant lavender note that doesn't overwhelm me.

Towards the end, it becomes noticeably woodier and the incense changes once again.
It now has a slightly balsamic effect.
But this could also be the listed myrrh.

All in all, a successful fragrance.
Admittedly, it doesn't completely knock my socks off, but I like it.

For me, the best from the French Collection
I ordered the French Collection tester set and sprayed all the fragrances individually on test strips. I liked this fragrance best, both in the top note and after the drydown a day later. The ginger gives it an extremely fresh feel, which in my opinion means it could also be worn in spring or summer. This pepper note is also extremely present, very pleasant, almost slightly fruity. Frankincense gives the whole thing a little smoky note, which is also not wrong. However, I also recognize the fragrance's potential for you to not get enough at the beginning and then quickly get sick of it. Personally, I don't feel the urge to buy a bottle right now.
