Spicy-sweet fragrance for the whole year
Saint Tropez by Birkholz manages to create a peppery, spicy fragrance with a certain sweetness, woody elements and incense that can be worn all year round.
The fragrance starts directly spicy-sweetish, quite warm and pleasantly incensey.
The pepper note is present, but not too strong and above all pleasing. In addition, you immediately sense a general spicy-warm flair.
From the description, this sounds like a fragrance for the colder months of the year But that's not quite the case, because it also contains a hidden freshness that makes the fragrance work wonderfully all year round. Whether cold or warm, Saint Tropez works.
Over time, the lavender also comes through super nicely.
But it's a very pleasant lavender note that doesn't overwhelm me.
Towards the end, it becomes noticeably woodier and the incense changes once again.
It now has a slightly balsamic effect.
But this could also be the listed myrrh.
All in all, a successful fragrance.
Admittedly, it doesn't completely knock my socks off, but I like it.
