Rather boring at the beginning but nice towards the end
The Bois Precious is a fragrance that I would have described as rather 08/15 at first. But the longer it was on my skin, the more I liked it. The longevity is good at 9 to 10 hours and the sillage is okay so far.
The top note starts sweetly with lots of acacia honey. The heart note has a powdery and floral scent of irises, iris and violets. Myrrh lingers in the background, but in a woody and spicy rather than smoky or resinous way. The base smells sweet, balsamic and creamy with amber, bourbon vanilla and some musk.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I found the top note in particular to be quite lame. But the Bois Precious then developed well. I would like to thank Nick for the bottling.
