What he can do, he does well.
The word "Junoon" is not only in Arabic, but also in Urdu or in Indonesian but it apparently somehow means passion.
Black passion is really the last association I would have with the scent. It's bright, sweet, very floral and the citrusy notes that some are smelling here don't really resonate with me. And:
I don't find it particularly powdery either. A slight floral powderiness is there, however, where Junoon Noir's bright buddies from the series are supposed to be real powder bombs.

Let's go from what it isn't to what it is after all: the longevity is quite good, with moderate projection, we have an ultra-feminine, young and somehow fresh white-flower scent, I smell jasmine and lily of the valley in particular. The fruitiness is not citrusy and not at all biting, but rather subtle and makes the whole round. So really round, no edges. However, I think a certain headache potential is quite possible due to the really strong floral sweetness. I hold out him but well.

As the title says - nothing earth-shattering, no blatant enlightenment. Can imagine the but during the day as a spring fragrance well, even on me continue.

Nothing here is as "noir" as it seems...
Junoon Noir is a classic "bright" fragrance for me.
Light and feminine, very delicate and yet loud enough.
To begin with: as a dupe to Casamorati - Dama Bianca Eau de Parfum (which also seems to make a lot more sense in terms of its name), it is by no means a disappointment. Anyone looking for a somewhat louder alternative will get their money's worth here, in my opinion. The Casamorati - Dama Bianca Eau de Parfum quickly becomes quieter or closer to the skin for me than the Junoon Noir. It's certainly not a 1:1 dupe for super-experienced noses, but I perceive a good 90% similarity in scent. I personally notice almost no differences on my skin, especially not purely from memory.

As for the fragrance itself: at the first puff, I immediately notice a shift from top and heart notes. It starts out beautifully citrusy, but not spicy, instead sweet with a (slightly powdery) iris note. For me, lily of the valley and jasmine combine to create this "bright" vibe, which for me has very little in common with noir. If you let the fragrance linger on your skin, it becomes wonderfully vanilla-like and, for me, slightly balsamic. It doesn't have that vanilla dough cookie and cake vibe, nor is it a gourmand scent per se. If it's gourmand, then it has more of a body lotion association. It's just brightly floral, soft and very richly creamy with that slightly citrusy-sweet kumquat, which also makes the scent very special for me.
It has this creamy, sophisticated vibe with citrus notes.
It's one of my favorites for the first days of spring.
Anything over 25 degrees is purely a matter of taste.

And as a PS: If you like the scent, I can only recommend Golden Dust Perfume Oil or Cheirosa '40 for layering. :-)

Sniff and shiver
Spritz a little on your wrist, give it 10 seconds for the notes to develop, lean in, take a sniff and feel the delicious shivers running down your spine.
The opening to Junoon noir to my nose is dominated by lime and kumquat. After half a minute, the mid starts to develop with violet and jasmine notes. The jasmine note doesn't last very long before it is completely overpowered by vanilla and the later part of the mid is a thoroughly delicious kumquat, violet and vanilla combination. In truth it smells a little fresh with powdery vanilla at this point.
The dry down is a lightly sweet, incredibly silky and very feminine vanilla fragrance.

I own Junoon and whilst that is a predominantly powdery Iris, Junoon noir is a less powdery, sweetened vanilla. Both are intensely feminine, Junoon noir is of better quality, but I like Junoon slightly more due to Iris being the star of the show.

Lime and vanilla are two notes that go splendidly well together. I must explore more of these combinations.

Lots of vanilla
For me, the fragrance has a lot in common with Kayali Vanilla (is it just me who smells it?), only very different at the beginning, with something spicy and sour, oriental.... Actually, I don't like anything sour in fragrances, but here it's very light and very attractive, I want to smell it again and again
Nice warm sweet scent, too heavy for summer.

Great love
I got the Junoon Noir as an encore in the souk...a real surprise...so warm, delicious...enveloping...I smell the floral notes rather briefly...then comes vanilla, sandalwood...so warm and unobtrusive....i've sprayed it a few times now before going to bed...and sniffed blissfully...a feel-good fragrance for me...sweet, pleasant...easily perceptible...but not overwhelming...straight to the watch list...I could absolutely get used to it...very nice

Supposed to be an exact dupe for Xerjoff Dama Bianca. A bit creamier with stronger projection.
