BCR540 with interference factors

I've had the Amber Oud ruby Edition for over a year now. I have to say in advance that I think it's a good dupe for the original. I'm sure there are many more dupes of the fragrance, it's so popular - that's also a disruptive factor.

But now to the bottle. For the price, it and the OVP are quite impressive, so there's no reason to complain.

As for the fragrance itself, I have to say that the goal was successfully achieved. A successful fragrance, beautifully sweet and that certain cotton candy can also be clearly smelled. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there for me. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I always smell a relatively unpleasant alcohol note in mine, which is also evident throughout the fragrance. Especially at the beginning. It's really not nice at all for the first few minutes. But if you can stand it, you get those BCR540 vibes. Just with a slight alcohol note.
Longevity and sillage are really great here, it definitely lasts 10 hours on my skin and projects for at least 5 hours

Overall a good dupe, but unfortunately for me with a disturbing alcohol note, which unfortunately makes the fragrance hardly usable for me.

BR540 from a Happy Meal

This is hot garbage. Does it smell like BR540 extrait ? Yes the same way a mcdonalds cheeseburger and the best gourmet burger are both burgers. The quality is really quite awful. The opening has way too much and way to bitter of an almond note, but its pleasant, its doesn’t smell like BR, but its not bad. After about an hour, when it dries down is when it gets bad…i get this almost body odor like salty ambergris, that is not apparent in the original and the longer it sits on the skin, the worst it gets. Even if you never tried BR540 exrait, it will be immediately apparent to you, that it shouldn’t/doesn’t smell like this. This fragrance also gave me an allergic reaction when i put it on my skin, I got this red rash wherever I sprayed it. I thought it was just me, but I gave some to a friend to try and the exact same thing happened. I don’t think these cheaper middle eastern companies give a bollocks about it being safe and allergen free. I would highly discourage you from buying this. I personally returned my bottle.

Unfortunately this failed me. Plasticky almond, no juiciness, dry, dentist room smell. The original BR540 extrait is great to my nose: milky almonds, juiciness and transparency throughout, no doctor or dentist references. No other dupe of BR540 gave me this distinct doctor/dentist room, this is actually surprising. Sample first, don't blind buy. Consider this is the first failure with Al Haramain for me, I have others of their line and I like them. I really hoped this could scratch my itch, but this is nowhere close to the original, it really misses its hits that makes it magical. My research will continue.
