Great synthetic wood

Genetic Bliss was a fragrance I had been curious about for a long time. It's been in my collection for a few weeks now and I'm absolutely delighted with this fragrance. It's a very polarizing fragrance that has received a lot of praise but also some harsh criticism. But that's the way it is with molecular and synthetic fragrances, especially in this price range.
27 87 Perfumes is based in Barcelona. In addition to this fragrance, there are 9 other fragrances in the range, but this Genetic Bliss is by far the bestseller. The only black bottle, the others are white. This Genetic Bliss is also slightly more expensive.
I don't know whether there is more to the name. In any case, every fragrance from this brand is available in 27ml and 87ml. Cool idea, as such odd filling quantities are extremely rare.
Genetic Bliss costs over €200 for the large version and over €100 for the small one. Offers are hard to find as many stores don't stock this brand. However, if Breuninger has promotions from time to time, you can buy it a little cheaper there. The fragrance comes in a pretty orange box in which the bottle sits securely.

You should definitely like synthetic fragrances. Many people associate synthetics with something negative. If it's done well, it doesn't bother me at all. I think fragrances like Bois Imperial with lots of synthetics are brilliant because they don't come across as cheap or unkind. On the contrary, notes like Akigalawood or Georgywood come across really well and look very classy despite the synthetics. Whether you like it or not, the compliment factor is quite high with such fragrances, as they have something very likeable about them.
Genetic Bliss officially has 5 notes in the pyramid, all of them synthetic. The direction the fragrance takes should be clear to everyone: Woody, fresh and naturally synthetic. A subtle spiciness is also perceptible. There is not much development here either, as this fragrance settles down quite quickly and then tends to stay that way.
It is really difficult to describe a fragrance that is exclusively synthetic. You should test it yourself, buying blind is also very dangerous. Those who like fragrances like Escentric Molecules or Bois Imperial could be the target group here. Akigala and Georgywood are in the foreground here. If you don't like these synthetic woody notes, you can steer clear of this fragrance. For me, these two notes are like a joker: they always work, almost everyone likes them and you feel comfortable with them. This woody note has no annoying, penetrating synthetics, but is simply a great companion here. It reminds me slightly of a mixture of fresh polish and fresh sawdust, with a mild spiciness. I find it thoroughly pleasant, especially after about 20 minutes when the fragrance has settled in.
Performance is top, as you would expect from synthetics. Those who prefer a woody freshness in everyday life will not be disappointed. good sillage, over 10 hours of durability, some compliments... the fragrance is best used in everyday life. This fragrance also works quite well during sports or on warmer days.

All in all, a great synthetic wood fragrance, but you should test it first. You can see it very clearly from the statements: this fragrance is not for everyone. Possibly a little overpriced, but quite well made.
