Not everyone's cup of tea
Ibn Dhi Yazan is a very special fragrance that knows how to offend. I think you either have to be a total fan of this kind of DNA or the opposite. I'm actually a bit in the middle, but I have to admit that it doesn't quite suit my taste.
Nevertheless, I do appreciate the design.
The fragrance starts off quite smoky, slightly spicy and this quite earthy patchouli is also immediately recognizable.
A peppery element resonates and a very slight sweetness.
I even had the impression of perceiving a light rose-oud mix, but my nose seems to have deceived me.
However, some oud is also listed and I think I can already recognize this accord in the initial phase.
The slight sweetness possibly comes from the amber note.
After a few moments, you can also recognize some cardamom, as well as leather.
The leather builds up over time and becomes more intense.
