An Oriental from Sweden
Al Mundhir is a pleasant oriental fragrance. It doesn't do anything completely new or special. It even reminds me of some fragrances that I unfortunately can't think of right now. Nevertheless, I like this fragrance a lot.
I like this mix of a certain kind of citrus and the oriental woody touch and it suits me well.
The fragrance starts with this citrusy component of bergamot and, above all, orange. The whole thing is paired with some tobacco and also oud.
The orange also brings a certain fruity side into play. For me, however, the oud listed in the heart note is already recognizable in the top note as described. But it never becomes a "stinky oud". It is simply a really beautiful oriental, woody fragrance.
The cardamom also comes to the fore relatively quickly. For me, it is already recognizable in the background at the beginning and becomes stronger after a short time.
There is also some jasmine in the mix. This really slightly sweet-floral facet adds a little more depth and goes well with the rest of the theme.
Towards the end, saffron is the main player for me. A really nice saffron vibe runs its circles and is visited by very, very slightly earthy patchouli.
In general, the fragrance is primarily oriental. It is spicy, woody, very slightly citrusy-fruity and gently earthy.
The performance is positive for me. This fragrance lasted 10 hours on me with just 2-3 small sprays.
It projected quite well, but somewhat worse than expected, according to my fragrance impression regarding the DNA.
I like this fragrance!
