Cloud 7 on a meadow with a view of the city.
Not so long ago, I went to the H&C perfumery to just have a look around (like most people here, I find it hard to walk past one without testing ;-) ). The saleswoman was on fire, asked me what I liked and held the corresponding fragrances under my nose. That's when I came across Philly&Phill for the first time.

Fun fact: The "Punks In Paradise | Philly & Phill" was not there.

However, I've been a fan of Philly&Phill since that day.
I gradually tested my way through the portfolio, mostly through bottlings on EssenceVitae. At some point, someone mentioned this fragrance in the ticker, and so I became curious about it. So I ordered a bottle of it as well.

When it arrived, I tested it straight away, of course. And what can I say. I fell in love with it, even though it's not the kind of fragrance I prefer. It's something you hardly ever smell otherwise.

It starts with lots of hemp and nice fruity-citrusy-sweet. There is also some rather "light" incense in there. However, it's not at all intrusive or such that someone would think you had just consumed it :D. More like a soft drink with hemp flavor, which you can buy in junk stores every now and then, but which still smells pleasant. The scent develops in a soft, earthy direction, in which the citrusy-fruity-sweetness remains and the hemp fades.

Pictorially, I imagine a group of young, rebellious adults sitting somewhere on a meadow with a view of the city - laughing their heads off, but also crying sometimes, and then laughing again. Drinking canned beer and smoking their first jibbit. Talking about life, family, ex-partners and politics.

Just like this. Punks in Paradise.

Scent of the little man for the colder days.
To be honest, until last winter I'd never bothered with Zara fragrances because, admittedly, I was relatively spoiled by designer and niche fragrances. As you are, you often have prejudices against manufacturers who otherwise only bring fast fashion to the market - so the likelihood that something of high quality will come along is relatively low.

However, I was tempted by TikTok - it said it was an alternative to "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford".
Anyone who laughs out loud now is right to do so. It has absolutely nothing to do with it. But for the price, I didn't really do any research on the fragrance beforehand.

No sooner said than done. My friend went shopping in the city and brought it back for me.

When I sprayed it on, I had mixed feelings. On the one hand negative, because it had nothing to do with "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" as I had hoped (which was stupid to believe)... but on the other hand positive, because it's not a bad fragrance at all!

The synthetic apple, the tonka bean and a hint of mint are definitely in the foreground here. The scent from the first application also lingers, as there is virtually no great scent progression.
There is no tobacco in the name, at least not in my perception.

The longevity and sillage are limited, although I think it's more of a heavy fragrance than a light one. But it's perfectly okay for the price. So you shouldn't expect a beast.

I would rather wear it on colder days towards fall/winter.

My verdict: You can wear it, but you don't have to. The fragrance itself is absolutely beautiful and pleasant, it would just be nice if it lasted and projected better. But for the price, it doesn't hurt to spray more often.

Fun fact: My prejudices against Zara fragrances are gone - I've bought 2 more over time. :-P

Memories of Papa's Langnese Cremissimo Amarena sundae
After Marc Gebauer praised this fragrance a few times in his Instagram story, and I can (mostly) blindly trust him when it comes to perfume, I decided to do some research on it.

Just reading it made my mouth water, at least metaphorically speaking.
Amarena cherry? Salted caramel? Red fruits? Tonka? Vanilla cream? Rose? - "Damn boy, f** yes!" I thought to myself and quickly ordered a bottle.

It arrived and what can I say, it blew me away. I'm a big lover of cherry scents in a perfume anyway - but with the Vicebomb, Mr. Simone Andreoli has done his homework better than anyone else.

As others have already mentioned, the fragrance starts off very boozy - although there is an alcoholic note in the direction of rum (in my opinion), the Amarena cherry is clearly in the foreground, and that throughout.
In the background, however, all of the above-mentioned "ingredients" hit the nose, but I don't see this as negative. Fortunately, the rose is very restrained and does not push itself to the fore as it does in the Montale fragrances. It develops into a really "delicious", creamy fragrance that is not too overpowering.

If you're asking yourself "What's with the title now?": It reminds me of my childhood, as Amarena was my father's absolute favorite ice cream flavor. When I smell this scent, I see myself sitting on the sofa with him - he with the whole Langnese Cremissimo tub in his hand, and me with my little children's bowl with 2 scoops that he graciously gave me (and Knight Rider is on TV). Well, enough personal stuff, back to the scent:

Vicebomb is a true compliment-getter. I'm certainly not a womanizer (only because I'm taken, of course), but it still goes down very well with most women. The sillage is very present, especially in the first 3-4 hours, and it easily lasts 8-10 hours minimum for me. In my opinion, the fragrance is wearable for both women and men.

Simone Andreoli has one more fan and admirer in me.
