First of all, I have to confess: I love vanilla fragrances, so I approach vanilla fragrances with good expectations.

But even if you're not such a vanilla-hyper, this fragrance will appeal to everyone, because that's what it is: pleasing. It's never too much because it doesn't have that heavy sweetness.

I only smell a subtle fruitiness at the beginning, the vanilla starts straight away, literally embraces me and a slight creaminess resonates. Very pleasant, I am immediately in love.

It reminds me a little of "Spiritueuse Double Vanille | Guerlain", even if I find the vanilla there heavier.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last quite as long on me, after a maximum of 4 hours I have to press my nose to my skin to smell anything. Still a great fragrance, the scent is relatively linear overall, without a twist - but that's a good thing :-)

As a gift for my father-in-law, who was looking for a new fragrance, I read various recommendations and organized a few possible fragrances as bottlings
Among other things, I could imagine a subtle leather fragrance for him. "Leather 6 / Fetish | J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin" etc. would probably be too special, so my attention quickly fell on "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade"
As the fragrance is unisex and contains a slight sweetness, I tried it myself first - and what can I say, I was shockingly in love.

The start is a subtle leather note, not a dirty cool-boy-in-motorcycle-clothes leather, but more like a thin, fine suede coat. Very pleasant and immediately creates a feeling of well-being. Initially, I also notice a very brief alcoholic note, but it disappears so quickly that I'm not sure if I imagined it. You read about comparisons with "Angels' Share | Kilian", but apart from a cinnamon note, which is also present, I don't find the two similar at all. AS is much more boozy and less cuddly.

The fine suede coat is joined by a cinnamon cookie and a subtle, warm sweetness. This sweetness remains, even if the leather is no longer perceptible to me after about 3 hours.
A perfect fragrance for fall/winter, I think.
So "unfortunately" it won't be a gift as intended, but a gift to myself. Sorry Not sorry

You know those fruit vendors on beaches in southern European vacation countries who spend half the day walking around on the beach at 38 degrees with their crates of fruit, trying to sell it to tourists?
My memory of this was about 30 years ago, but when I smelled "L'Impératrice | Dolce & Gabbana" for the first time, the "chant" that I heard about 100 times as a child on a beach vacation in Spain immediately popped into my head:
"Melonamelonamelona, Vitaminaminamina, La Potencia! Melonamelonamelona, vitaminaminamina ..."

The fragrance is extremely fruity, fortunately not too sweet, more of a watery sweetness. Certainly only suitable for summer and I find it too much thanks to melon overkill, but really something special!

Never happened before, but I became curious about the fragrance because of its name. i find "Treffpunkt 8 Uhr | J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin" unusual and funny for a perfume name.

I thought it meant Treffpunkt 8 o'clock in the evening - and had therefore imagined the fragrance to be quite different.
Meeting point 8 o'clock in the morning is more appropriate, because the fragrance starts with mango, but not a sweet mango, but rather an unripe, tart/green one. The vintage vetiver also pops into my nose. I barely notice the fruity notes. Unfortunately.

The fragrance smells too vintage for me, as if it were actually an old perfume that was created back then and not one that is just meant to remind us of the past. Like a perfume from grandma or grandpa. More like grandpa's.

Received a sample, checked out the fragrance notes, saw potential, Armani has brought out some beautiful fragrances after all (best piece in the house: "Armani Privé - Rouge Malachite | Giorgio Armani").
So, unfortunately that was nothing. It may be due to my slightly advanced age or my now spoiled nose, but neither "My Way Parfum | Giorgio Armani" nor "My Way Intense | Giorgio Armani" appeal to me. They are very similar.

Smells fruity-sweet to me, but that "cheap/squishy" sweetness, if anyone knows what I mean?

But I can imagine the scent on girls in their early 20s, with a glossy, pink lip gloss and a little over-excited and in a good mood.
