In a world of decants, why buy a bottle of $360 cologne? I told myself I would never do this again. Then I was introduced to Beach Hut by Amouage. It was an experience! Instantly, I knew this fragrance would be a friend for life. I love everything about it. The mint, the spiciness, freshness, and more. It brings together the accords I most love. It’s my favorite right now and I expect it to be in my Top 5 indefinitely. I bought the 100 ml bottle and celebrate my lack of restraint.

Never again though!

You don’t have to be unique to be loved. Though many blue fragrances share the same neighborhood, Dylan is a great neighbor. I don’t want him to leave. I appreciate having Dylan Blue in my collection. It will never be my favorite nor the cologne I consider useless and store away. It is a good friend you do not spend much time with but always enjoy each other’s company.

Hold your breath for 10 mins then enjoy for hours. The opening is synthetic and shocking the first few times you spray it. Afterwards it is better than Aventus. Far better longevity, sillage at 10% of the price. Not my signature fragrance but one of a favorites. Half the price, or less, than most fragrances I own.

Respect to those who love Silver Mountain Water and for its popularity over the years. Yet, along with Green Irish Tweed, it smells dated to me…even though I am 56 years old. It also trends feminine imo.

The scent is confusing. My first thought was, “what is this?” I am certain it is my untrained nose, but it smells like notes that do not belong together. On my skin it smells like mildly scented lotion.

Not good. Not bad. Not for me.
