This makes you hungry
Bought absolutely blindly, with a lot of fear because although I use one or another of my wife's perfumes, I had never bought a feminine one but for myself. Black Orchid was one of those loves at first smell, a magnificent composition that, although it is already 10 years old, seems very modern and original to me.
On my skin it is a very evolutionary perfume, appearing aggressive and sharp at the start, with a subtle citrus air but mainly floral and an aroma that I did not know, perhaps it is the truffle, slightly bitter, creamy, which quickly begins to sweeten giving way to The best part of the perfume, the floral and sweet evolution, which with the passing of the minutes and with each wave of air lets you feel chocolate, a corpulent patchouli, the woods but mainly sandalwood, slight amber and incense nuances.
It is a very complex composition to my nose, very pleasant and balanced, it is on the one hand gourmand and sweet, but it is a sweetness that although it is opulent, is subtle, on the other hand it has an oriental and spicy profile, but also in a very pleasant and light; The woods finally give it a structure to support a mixture of notes that a priori were difficult for me to imagine in combination, but when I experienced the fragrance it turned out to be something magnificent.
It's one of those perfumes that when you spray it on your arm you feel like biting it. You don't have to worry about performance because after 8 to 9 hours it still feels firm, and it can stay on for days in clothing. Listed as feminine, but in my opinion it is unisex and more on the masculine side.
It's a serious10.

The best niche of designers. Glorious juice.
I'm going to try to rehearse my experience with the recently acquired Dior Homme Parfum. First of all, I would like to demystify the idea that it is a difficult perfume to use because it is heavy, in my taste it is much more versatile than what it has gained from its reputation, and on the other hand, come on, you have to use what you like when wherever you want and where you can, and it is not something that only I think about.
The notes stated on the official Dior website summarize the composition to Iris, Sandalwood and leather accords. Personally, I do perceive a fleeting citrus at the top and an oud chord, curiously not at the base, but at the top and that lasts not much more than an hour. The iris can be felt from the beginning, the protagonist, powdery and dry that combined with a woody leather accord is wonderful, it embraces you and lasts throughout the life of the perfume. It is not an aggressive leather, hardly animalistic, with a toasted sensation that is addictive.
My bottle is a Bach 2023, it is not the best performance, but it lasts about 6 hours with good projection for the first two hours. I insist with my perception that it is a perfume that can be used on many more occasions than YouTube reviewers say. Is it redundant to have Intense? I have both, it may be but I wouldn't leave any of them. Intense is sweeter and lighter, it doesn't have the notable leather accord, which is why I don't consider them to be so similar, but I don't know if any nose can confuse them.
It is a masterpiece that feels natural and quality when smelled. With a great personality, he is neither interested nor seeking to please everyone. It is original, particular and unique, capable of causing a very special experience when used. This to me is one of the concepts of what “niche” means. May I never lack.

Nice, but not my taste
I tried Ferragamo Uomo once and it didn't generate much for me, then I got a very good offer and decided to have it so I could try it in more detail. I think it can be easy to like, but particularly the sweet and gourmand ones are not my favorites, so from that place I give my opinion.
The exit seemed very difficult to me, but very difficult. Super synthetic and overloaded with sweet, so much so that it's hard to notice any ingredient. After waiting a few long minutes, it settles in a more friendly manner, revealing a coffee accord that curiously does not appear among the notes, with a very marked sweetness, which is why it evokes, as it were, a tiramisu. It is intensely sweet, warm and thick, very present during the first two hours, with an acceptable longevity of more than 6 hours. Youthful, nocturnal and ideal for cold evenings.
It's not one of my favorite tastes, but I think it may be very enjoyable, and it's generally at a good price. I suggest to try it first.

Another nice but fleeting scent
This is Him! It is a perfume that is already a few years old, is not and has never been overcrowded and has a more than respectable reputation in the opinion of YouTube reviewers. What is it about? exactly what it promises, with few declared notes, it evolves quickly from the sparkling almost effervescent top of grapefruit spiced by pepper, to the body of incense, light to my taste, sweetened by vanilla which then settles into a base of sandalwood also quite light. It's dark, I think the night suits it better in temperate climates. I find it curious that the great, great resemblance it has to Paco Rabanne's Pure XS is not often mentioned.
So far everything is clear, it happens that I cannot understand how my bach (March 2023) can perform so badly. I am one of those who prefer aromas to performance, I don't complain if a perfume lasts 4 hours and I have to reapply, besides the fact that generally my skin does not favor the performance of perfumes and I usually apply quite a bit, even the most powerful ones I have. But This is Him goes beyond that. I gave it the last use with about 18 degrees, and about 15 sprays. I swear that after half an hour I had to put my nose close to the back of my hand to perceive it, and after two hours it was necessary to track it with my nose against my arm.
I wouldn't recommend it, instead I suggest going with the Pure XS. This is going to be one of the very few times that I focus a comment on the duration of a perfume, because I think such poor performance is somewhat abnormal.

The most sophisticated of the versatile
Bois imperial is a perfume that I never want to be without. It may have a linear development, but nobody goes unnoticed with Bois Imperial, and for various reasons. Firstly, the composition, very far from what is known and mainstream but at the same time friendly, easy and pleasant. There are many dry, shiny and robust woods that give it a personality and a unique presence, and in my taste very masculine to be unisex. Secondly, its behavior, it travels far for the first two hours, leaving a trail in its wake that someone will surely ask where the aroma comes from, and it remains on the skin for 8 to 10 hours. It can adapt to different situations, it is great for daily work, for informal outings, day and night. Even if you have to wear a distinguished suit, it doesn't clash and highlights the elegance. And for its price, no one can beat it. May it never be missing from my collection.
