Surprisingly pleasant, slightly gourmand
When I first heard about Tulpa Club and this fragrance, I thought the concept was a bit strange. Green flower stems? A box of vanilla cookies? But as a perfume it works and is lovely! The green note in the opening is not too harsh or bitter. It settles within 30 minutes to the lovely sugary amber base which is made more pleasant by a bit of coconut and pineapple that are subtle and don't make this perfume tropical. Cannot detect rose in this however. I don't know how long this perfume will be out for, but I ordered the largest size, 50 ml + 15 ml and they are sitting nicely in my wardrobe drawer.

Copycat of Molinard's Thé Basilic
Wow so apparently this is an exact dupe for Molinard's Thé Basilic. Exact same notes and smell at 6 times the price, released 2 years later as a copycat! Don't be fooled. Molinard is one of my favourite perfume houses from Grasse and they didn't strike me as the kind that would be unoriginal, yet Xerjoff has been the culprit here. "Niche quality" eh? More like ripping off another house's art. Outrageous.

Winter staple. Luxuriously smooth.
Amazing and phenomenal smooth vanilla-almond-tonka bean scent. A staple in my collection for winter and fall, so I have a backup bottle. The projection on this is fairly discreet but it's a beautiful scent for your personal bubble or for personal encounters with others. Longevity is 3-4 hours max on my skin. I would compare this scent's similarity to Commodity's Milk Expressive or L'orchestre Parfums Piano Santal, but a much nicer and smoother version that is free of unpleasant accords.

Not novel, but an okay citrus.
If you've been subscribing to Ffern for a few years, you will soon realise that their offerings don't differ very much from year to year. Spring 24 is actually extremely similar to Summer 23, with the prominent grapefruit. This is not novel for them at all. And the reference to rhubarb is quite misleading as this is more of a citrusy perfume rather than anything more tart or sweet.

In my opinion, Spring 23 was the best variant of the citruses because it was most zesty. I stopped subscribing to Ffern due to the lack of novelty in their variations, and since I use up the perfumes sparingly over time. Also, they started using patchouli as a base note in Fall 23 and I don't like how that note dirties up fragrances. I will stick to citruses that are clean and zesty with only slight smokiness from hay, and buy their Spring or Summer bottles from Ebay when I've used up the 3 bottles I have.

Best Aphophatic Perfume
I am nose-blind to "your skin but better" musk perfumes with Iso E Super like Molecule 01 or Another 13. But I can smell all the aromachemicals in this. Cetaox is a variant of Ambroxan, which I am not anosmic to, thankfully! So I can hop onto the mysterious musk train as well.

This is quite lovely, slightly ambery and woody on my skin and great for layering with lighter fruit musks. Decent performance, too. The Superdose version is way too scratchy and woody but this is perfect. This perfume is also exactly what I had expected Milk or Xtra Milk by Dedcool to be, but that one smelled extremely faint for me.
