Supposedly a dupe for Nishane Tero, but not mine at all
I bought the perfume for one reason only.
Nishanes' Tero is supposed to be a great caramel scent and the Mazaaj is supposed to be a dupe for it.
I can't say whether this is really the case, I've never tested the Tero.
But since I've been looking for a perfume with a prominent caramel note for a long time, I just had to buy the Mazaaj blind.
Some fragrances convince me directly, unfortunately Mazaaj does not fall into this category.
I found the opening very synthetic.
I was immediately hit by an alcoholic cloud that almost gave me a stroke.
Caramel? Not at all!
At least not a realistic caramel.
Rather salty, spicy caramel, or something reminiscent of caramel.
Because, as I said, that's not what caramel smells like to me.
Very spicy the whole thing.
Caramel should actually be sweet, but the spiciness just totally outweighs it.
I detect patchouli in the DD.
You can only sense cinnamon.
Again, it's not realistically fragrant cinnamon.
Coupled with the synthetic caramel that gives me glue vibes, I immediately knew I had to get rid of this perfume.
After 20-30 minutes, it finally becomes more pleasant.
Fortunately, I no longer notice the sticky vibe of the caramel.
The fragrance becomes smoother, but the notes all seem quite inferior.
A spicy, subtly sweet cloud envelops you, with a radiance of 1.5 hours.
The radiance is moderate.
Unfortunately, I was unable to test the longevity extensively.
Like almost every other fragrance, it lasted until the next day on my top.
Can I recommend this fragrance? Definitely not.
It just seems too inferior for that.
This is perhaps understandable for the price, but there are much better fragrances in this price range.
That's just my personal opinion, maybe you'll like it after all, but it just wasn't for me.
