Tygar DNA at a top price
For a while, this Rue Broca Théorème pour Homme was a bit rare, probably because of this hype. Currently, some stores carry this again and the stocks are filled. And at a really very very good price. i can only advise everyone: Grab it! Here you get a fresh no-brainer with a known DNA that is not 0815 and simply convinced.

Rue Broca is a brand of Afnan, which has with Turathi (Blue) an extremely similar fragrance in the range. This one I can also highly recommend. This has an identical DNA, is in my opinion a little tad more oriental. The original DNA comes from Le Gemme - Tygar, which costs a whopping 340€. Sospiro has brought out a very similar fragrance with Vibrato, which I bought. Unfortunately, this is not listed here for legal reasons, but is in my opinion the best of its kind. Rosso Pompei also goes roughly in this direction, but has its own approaches. Except for the Tygar I own all 4, which I like all very well and this DNA is just great and pleasing.

This Theoreme is of the P-L-V the best in my opinion. The niche fragrances have of course more quality, but also cost over ten times. The price per 90ml oscillates around the 20€, which is really a snapper for this quality and in my opinion is also safe for Bindbuys. Even for people who know none of these role models: Here you get a Freshie that just always goes, comes across serious and also has a certain sex appeal.
The fragrance comes in a nice box and the bottle is rather modest and at designer / drugstore level. But the content counts and this is really good.

In contrast to the Turathi Blue, this is already much more western and goes even more in the Tygar direction. He just has this great grapefruit freshness with this woody-savory touch. I love and stands out from these typical designer freshies. For me with the best what you can find for around 20€ so. This pleasant citrusy woody freshness keeps itself alive for a long time and it stays very fresh for a long time. This DNA is simply very refreshing and above all very modern. Towards the drydown, it becomes much woodier and softer. An absolute no-brainer, which is never overwhelmed and yet not boring.
Performance is 1A for a fresh fragrance. Is not vibrato, but for a fresh Cheapie performs super and without much synthetic touch. SIllage is 3-4 hours top, then still a few hours close to the skin. Satisfactory.

Overall, a great no-brainer freshness. Due to the price a great fragrance that you can pack in your gym bag or similar. He offers freshness that you can always spray on and always goes.

I love the grapefruit monster!
Today I had a visitor: a grapefruit monster had hidden itself in a bottle of Rue Broca and hopped boldly into my nose to stuff it full of ripe citrus fruits. It brings joy, especially now in dreary February.
After I had breathed that in, creamy woods and sweet amber followed, but tended to stay in the 2nd row

Delicious! For dessert, a cocktail of musk and patchouli, although the latter is more sophisticated than hippie

Fantastic citrus to the end. The woods make everything elegant, with a slightly bitter grape note. Perfect longevity and sillage. Goes from spring to fall, preferably during the day, then everywhere.
Price in the Mickey Mouse range, incredibly cheap. Just buy it. Blind.
The bottle. Sprays great. Well, the cap squeaks. But who cares if you have a little grapefruit monster living inside?
I hope I could be helpful!

Wonderful
Sometimes we are surprised by something because of its innovation, but that's not what we're talking about here (also because it's very close to Tygar). Théoreme is a very easy aroma to please, that's a fact! But what surprised me here was something else: the fact that it is an extremely pleasant aroma.

The fragrance is amber with a citric, sweet and spicy character. The opening is effervescent with the freshness of grapefruit citrus along with the spiciness of ginger (?). With something that reminds me of a citrus soda. A contrast between the citrus accord of fresh grapefruit and the ambery ambroxan.

The perfume surprises right from the start, with a very pungent opening. The drydown looks great with a big dose of a woody, musky ambroxan. The ambroxan molecule has been a leading edge note in perfumery used to highlight musky and woody undertones in fragrances.

The main notes of the fragrance are: essence of grapefruit, ambrox and ginger. It is an ambery, velvety and delicate citric perfume. A perfume with good versatility in terms of climate, but in terms of occasions, I think it's more suitable for more sophisticated situations or even for evening outings in the summer. The performance is excellent, so if we consider the price and compare it with Tygar... The perfume is sweet, light, soft, warm, luminous, unisex, refined, sensual, ordinary and modern.

Familiar DNA, but good again
The Théorème pour Homme is once again one of those fragrances whose DNA is simply known.
Do you know Tygar, Rosso Pompei, Turathi Blue and the like, then you know what to expect here approximately.

He is many things at once.
He is fresh, citrusy, subtly spicy, sweetish, slightly woody, oriental touched, elegant and modern.

The fragrance simply radiates a good feeling, a certain lightness and what invigorating.

Absolutely great top note.
The top note also holds out for a long time.
At the end it becomes a little woodier (discreet) and lands on a musk cloud.

A certain spiciness also plays along, which is by no means exaggerated. The great fresh, citrusy notes make the whole thing a really good composition.

A fragrance that makes fun,
does not cost a lot of money and is simply something special for the summer.

The Turathi Blue is very similar to him in my opinion.
This one has for me just a tad more of an oriental touch.

Clear recommendation ️

Finally, a cheap woody amber freshie done right. Sorta...
I'm just gonna straight out and say it. I hate woody ambers. With a passion. They burn my nose, smell exactly like isopropyl alcohol and just about outlast and overpower everything in a composition. Up until the summer of 2022, I was like most people - I really didn't notice them; but something must've happened to my receptors one strange night, because after that, literally everything changed.

Suddenly, I was smelling woody ambers in everything - designers, niche, and especially middle eastern clone brands that seem to view them as a solution to the performance problem that freshies have in high heat as well as a way to widen the profit margin on already affordable fragrances. And who can blame them? They're cheap, extremely stable, abnoxiously powerful and most people can't even make them out, making them the perfect material to supercharge otherwise flaccid compositions. In fact, I'll bet my bottom dollar that what I used to think was a cheap synthetic spicy oud was actually a woody amber like Amber Xtreme cleverly wrapped in a warm coat of iso-e or labdanum derivative.

The problem I have now, is that my newfound sensitivity has opened my nose to the realization of just how ubiquitous the materials are. And when I smell them in a post-2001 perfume, there's really no way to un-smell them. So the question then becomes - how do you hide an atomic bomb blast in plain sight? Theoreme. That's how.

On the surface, this fragrance can be summarized in 3 words - citrus-woody-amber. But a better way to describe it is spicy amber-something-or-other covered in sweet grapefruit, on a bed of non-decript patchouli-musk. If you look at the notes of Afnan's Turathi Blue, that's it EXACTLY. Absolutely no doubt. Rue Broca is a subsidiary of Afnan after all, so it makes sense. Haven't smelled Bvlgari's Tygar; but if they're charging that kind of premium for a massive dose of a cheap captive molecule (can anyone say Erba Pura?), then they're laughing all the way to the BANK.

The good - the grapefruit is on par with D&G's Light Blue Forever. It's a synthetic grapefruit accord to be sure - reminiscent of the flavouring in Allan's sour grapefruit slices, but it seems to fool most people and definitely is on the bitter side of things. Fortunately, it never really jumps out and kicks you in the face....exactly. Instead, it's steadily balanced by the patchouli and warm spices that actually give this fragrance a quasi tea-ish vibe. Like a warm tea brightened with a spritz of grapefruit? Curiously, I get a similar effect with Rochas' Moustache edp (which also utilizes a decently obvious woody amber), that takes that warm tea and adds a good dose of rose and honey. On SKIN that is. On paper, Theoreme keeps things a bit colder and sweeter - like an iced-tea with a hint of grapefruit. Pretty sure that would be the effect on clothing as well.

Unfortunately, on skin, the show really doesn't go on for that long. After about an hour or two, the rubbing alcohol vibe takes over (as it always does) and everything else just sort of disappears from notice. To me. And I'll bet you anything that at this point, many people would mistaken that sharp nose-burning effect as an indicator that the citrus is still hanging on. But therein lies the illusion. lol That's musk indenofuran for ya.

So is it a good scent? In a way, hell yeah. Textbook on how to hide a potent woody amber in a fragrance. For....a few short hours. After that, there's just no way. Something like Amber Xtreme will outlive your grandmother. But when that grapefruit is kicking and the whole warm tea vibe is there, I think it's bloody fantastic. Never have I ever ticked every box in the first 3 categories of the classification system below. But this fragrance does it. Anytime, anywhere, anyone. Anytime. No I already said that. Anyone, anywhere. And here's the kicker - it doesn't burn my nose! Yes, the woody amber is still easily detectable, but it seems like my nose just doesn't care anymore? I dunno, difficult to explain. But yeah, it's good that way.

As the for the bottle, the upper collar is a fingerprint magnet, and despite the cap being reasonably heavy, the shape of the bottle makes it kind of cumbersome to remove and replace. Sucky. But the atomizer sprays out a ton of juice, so that's another plus. And price? Forget about it. Dirt cheap.

The bad - difficult to find. Very difficult actually. Might as well just go with Turathi Blue if you can't find it tbh. Otherwise, have at it. It's really quite pleasing. And versatile. And a massive projector for the first couple of hours thanks to......you guessed it. All hail woody ambers as perfumery's Lord and money savior. Saver. Typo. Nuthin' left to say. Other than.......anytime.

Bright grapefruit and ginger in the opening. Tangy, creamy and woodsy with a smooth Ambroxan in the base. The performance is quite good.
