Please not the next irrelevant freshie.
This was my first thought when I read the scent notes for this fragrance..
The usual suspects should of course not be missing in a freshie:
Citrus fruits, ginger, maritime notes and, of course, bergamot. Hardly any fragrance that claims to be a summer scent (or tries to) can do without these notes these days. Most people are probably already fed up with the usual 0815 freshie fragrances, all of which are then copy no. X of well-known expensive fragrances.
But this one does something different. To my nose, it has a constellation of notes that I have never noticed before. I can't smell where this unusual combination comes from, but for me it's not the typical dupe or the closest analogy to Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette, Basso Isola Blu Parfum or other similar fragrances.
Is it the maritime notes that transport you to a beach bar in Ibiza, the light sea breeze swirling in your nose?
Or is it the resinous, warm base?
I will try to find out the twist in further tests.
Until then, I'm enjoying a feeling of warmth and summer with this fragrance in the current 2°C and typically uncomfortable April weather, with hail, wind and sun in constant alternation...
I don't want to praise this fragrance as the ultimate, but in my opinion it has remained hidden until now and doesn't need to hide from the other fresh fragrances. The bottle is heavy, holds up very well and the lacquered color gradient really makes a statement!
And until summer finally arrives, I'll be smelling this fragrance whenever I need to and bringing summer into my home for a day (or even for its good longevity)!
Thanks for reading ️

It's just advertising, as if the fragrance can do anything...
This is how the story began with the Pure Island fragrances, including this one.
While bored scrolling on Instagram, I saw the advertisement.
In typical EssenceVitae fashion, I immediately looked it up. Zack,...

Ouverture - A musical in three acts -
For a long time, this fragrance has been worth a review for me, as it has made it from a 2ml to a 5ml bottling to a bottle.
For me, Ouverture is like a piece of music, no rather a musical made up of various pieces of music composed...
