The Palace live up to its name?
I would like to take a closer look at this question. What do you expect from this name or what image comes to mind? An image of white marble with golden elements immediately comes to mind. A sumptuously furnished hall that is almost unmanageable and simply overwhelming.
Does the fragrance match this image?
In my humble opinion, definitely. The opening is very fresh and citrusy, and the orange blossom really comes into its own for me. The bay leaf as well as the cardamom add a nice spiciness.
The floral notes then unfold in the heart of the fragrance, and the marshmallow note is also perceptible through a certain sweetness. However, these give way to the complex base of the fragrance after a short time. Of these, the oud is the strongest, but the cinnamon can also be smelled. However, the cinnamon is not Christmassy or sweet, but provides a nice change to the otherwise very heavy base.
In summary, it can be said that this fragrance really lives up to its name. It smells extremely high-quality and the overall picture simply fits. From the packaging to the bottle to the fragrance, it simply makes a luxurious impression.
H/S is also not from bad parents. It is easily noticeable throughout the day, but not obtrusive. A beautiful fragrance to enjoy.
