Creamy bar of expensive sandalwood soap
This smells like a combination of Bombshell Magic and Heavenly (2013) Eau de Parfum. Bombshell Celebration is a high-end, creamy bar of sandalwood soap: calming, luxurious, and something you'd find in a spa with all-white cold marble floors and fresh robes.
Comparing Bombshell Celebration to its (in my opinion) closest flanker, Bombshell Magic--
Both share a similar:
- spicy-sexy-sweet patchouli base (while not listed in Bombshell Celebration, it's distinctive to me and so similar to the base in Bombshell Magic)
- cool-green woody/earthy element (the blue spruce note in Bombshell Celebration; in Bombshell Magic, I get a strong juniper berry wreath/pine/spruce note)
- projection + longevity (both are among the strongest fragrances in my collection)
- overall DNA (when you smell both side by side, you can tell they're similar flankers)
They differ in:
- seasonal wear (Bombshell Celebration feels like it could be worn in the cooler days of Spring, Fall, and Winter; Bombshell Magic only feels like it could be worn in Winter due to its depth and stronger spicy-ness)
- dominant notes (Bombshell Celebration is a sandalwood-forward fragrance; Bombshell Magic is more "green wreath blend"-forward)
Both flankers feel very different to me from the OG Bombshell Eau de Parfum , or any other Bombshell flankers - which might be why I like both of them so much.
I get zero champagne in this, and the peony is more soapy than anything - not particularly sweet or "watery" like peony often is. Bombshell Celebration is feminine, woody, soapy, and signature-scent worthy!
