A wonderful fragrance
Oh what a pleasant surprise! The Moonlight Patchouli Le Parfum really cast a spell over me. It's simply beautiful! It also lasts well over a day on my skin - brutal! The sillage is also quite groundbreaking.
The top note starts citrusy thanks to bergamot. This impression is quickly replaced by oriental and sweet spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. The heart note offers a sea of rose petals. Curiously, it also smells a little like tangerine-flavored Fanta, which makes me think a little of Turathi (Blue). Now and again, a certain earthiness comes through thanks to patchouli. The base smells beautifully creamy and again sweet with bourbon vanilla and amber. A beautiful leatheriness can also be detected.
If there were less "earth" here, it would be a 10 out of 10, but even so, this could be a candidate for my bottle collection. Many thanks to Nick for the great bottling.
