Noble summer evening

Summer fragrances are often relatively light compositions that don't last long and yet score points for their freshness.

Costa Azzurra takes a different tack here. If I were to describe the fragrance based on a situation, it would be a seasoned, well-groomed man in a cream-colored linen suit having dinner on the Italian coast in the evening. He is definitely not a go-getter type but knows exactly what he wants.

For me, the fragrance is almost too overwhelming in midsummer at 30 degrees, but I see it more at 20 degrees and also more as an evening fragrance. It has something creamy about it, but this only comes to the fore after the citrusy top note. Here, too, I would describe the fragrance as unisex, but I see a more masculine tendency here.

Lasts 8 hours for me and the bottle is quite impressive. For me, this is the best summer fragrance Tom Ford has to offer.

One summer in a bottle please..

I came across the fragrance by chance.
A colleague at work had it as a sample from her husband and well...as soon as I sniffed the perfume, I realized: I need it:)
When you apply it, you get the concentrated landing of summer, I think.
The fragrance enchants with a mixture of citrus, a pleasant freshness and something aquatic...just a stay at the Mediterranean.

The fragrance's longevity is ok, but I think it could be a little longer lasting. If you keep the price range in mind.

The fragrance trip to the Mediterranean is served in a golden bottle.
Looks very pompous...but also somehow has its simplicity.
But considering the price range of the perfume, I was surprised that it comes in such a loveless outer packaging.
You are actually a bit spoiled by cheaper representatives (Rammstein's "Benzin" for example)

Nevertheless, this fragrance is worth a recommendation for lovers of citrus freshness and summer feeling (especially on gray autumn days).

Miami Nights

Costa Azzura makes me think of Miami Vice, Miami Nights. This is a well dressed older gentleman in nearly bare chested linen. He has generational wealth, probably drives an old school Lamborghini Countach. He owns a mansion in billionaires row and only comes out at night. He dresses to impress, not in a formal way, but sexy and provocative.

The scent is chypre/ Fougere, with bitter citrus notes. This is tropical with a light Mediterranean air. The citrus notes are very deep and rich/tangy. There’s a slight aquatic saltiness somewhere in the base that gives this fragrance a “seafaring” vibe.

It is beautiful and expensive smelling. A frag for the distinguished gentleman.

Warming summer in Costa azzura

I tried it yesterday when I went to Sephora Lyon part dieu, I had heard good things about it and wanted to know if this fragrance could be added to my collection.

I was expecting a refreshing summer fragrance from the Italian coast.

In the end, it's nothing like that, it's a warm, welcoming fragrance that's best for winter when you're craving holidays and summer. You can feel the scorching sun of the Italian city in the middle of a heatwave.

It's not unpleasant, but it already gives you an impression of something you've already smelled, like Margiela by the fire.

Nevertheless, the fragrance has a better sillage and lasts for about 10 hours and the powerful sillage for 4 to 5 hours.

I recommend it to those who don't have the eau de parfum version or who don't have the margiela. It's good value for money.
