The better side effect?
Well, how should I start?
I was able to test the fragrance a few days ago at Breuninger. In addition to the beautifully designed bottle and the great packaging, I sprayed two puffs on my wrist and waited a few seconds.
My first association: Side Effect by Intio. A beautiful fragrance that I bought here myself and found to be "nice to have but not worth it for me". I'm not someone who gets lost in the fragrance notes and talks about them in detail. I just found it obtrusively sweet. Not much of a change in my eyes, but I understand that it probably smells good to most people and you can probably expect one or two compliments here.
But now to Venegia 21: After a few minutes on the skin, this first impression of a side effects copy was fortunately not confirmed. Over time, I noticed less and less of the sweetness of the praline and something woody emerged. The extreme sweetness merged with a wonderfully woody note. Very light but still noticeable in my opinion. Here the fragrance simply takes on a wonderful depth and uniqueness. After a few hours, the fragrance changed again and the vanilla emerged. A thoroughly successful companion.
The longevity of the fragrance is really excellent. Even the next day, I could still slightly detect the vanilla note on my wrist. In my opinion, it is the better side effect with more character and a wonderful fragrance gradient. I find it much more wearable in the colder months or in the evening.
A really beautifully balanced oriental fragrance with addictive potential!
