The spectre of Maules
Maules seems to float silently through space, drifting like clouds in the wind, with quiet surface swirls in the atmosphere of a green planet. There are shimmering veils of lemons, beating wings of bergamots in darker mists of damp leaves, a marble of malachite.
Here the ghost of Maules creeps through the roots of iris-like fresh blossoms hovering in the light of dried spruce needles, perhaps galbanum. Do you see how his green eyes glow chamomile and lavender? Over there he sits in the woodsy moss, combing the freshly washed grass, their tips flashing with cool clarity, yet wetting threads of glue like Indian summer spiderwebs wafting from the sandal.
Then in these cool shimmering damp fields you see false flickering images of metal irons on white linen, tobacco like faux wood trees and cedars of grey graphite. The ghost of Maules then throws white marbles of tonka at the transmitters, this only marginally changes the weather, creams the sky into bright mother-of-pearl.
