Pee but make it fashion
Sarah Baker's Rules of Attraction is extravaganza in extrait de parfum concentration. The opening notes hit you with a hairspray-like blast of Iris and aldehydes, an unapologetic entrance that announces its presence with undeniable confidence.
As the scent settles, the Iris remains on full blast, joined by the elegant charm of Gardenia and the untamed allure of Civet. The transformation unfolds slowly, gradually shifting from a loud floral extravaganza to an animalic concoction that is vaguely reminiscent of pee, yet done in such a way that it smells sexy and fashionable.
This olfactory symphony showcases the uncompromising craftsmanship of Miguel Matos, who effortlessly marries the nostalgia of yesteryears with a contemporary and unique twist.
Regrettably, Rules of Attraction seems to have disappeared from Sarah's webshop, but I hope it will resurface soon because this truly is a standout.
