A true lady
Do you know Madame Rochas? She is from when a true lady wore gloves, whenever she went outside the house - and long gloves at dinner parties. From when skirts were just below the knee. From when pearls were essential, just as much as earrings and hats. From when a lady wore stockings and a garterbelt. Even though the pantyhose had just been invented the year before in 1959 she would not consider buying a pair - such newfangled nonsense!
The beginning of the 60s is well represented in this magnificent classic fragrance. Not knowing that in less than a decade the world, the fashion and the lady would have changed completely. I adore Madame Rochas for its elegant expression. I always feel like wearing heels and hat when I wear this scent. I have the edc, the edt and parfum, and the parfum is something else. One of its kind. Guy Robert, who is the nose behind Calèche (which I really like), has created this beautiful scent which shows his huge talent for making good perfumes. So well balanced, so warm and so unforgettable.
I have an original 4,8ml. I worship and treasure it.
