The eternal magic of Rasasi Hawas (Ice) / Your potential is enormous!
Hello everyone,
i would like to say something about Hawas Ice
I recently came across a sample of Hawas Ice thanks to a friend (on a trip abroad) and... ...there it was, this strange magic that kicks me over and over again. For your information, I have a 21'er myself and I know that the (unfortunately it is massively different from the 23.....
I have fragrances that cost 10x to xx times more than it and ALWAYS when I wear the old Hawas for Him I have a grin on my face. Because, among other things, it does a lot of things right that some niche houses forget or don't take on principle, this simple, uncomplicated and sometimes transparent friendliness...
It was announced at the end of 2023 and I waited and waited and waited until March 2024, there were no samples, no bottles, nothing. You can't order a bottle in the EU = terrific! I don't know exactly why this is the case, but I can imagine there are IFRA guidelines or basic problems. At the moment you almost always pay 80€ to 120€ + shipping + customs fees...
How does it smell :
It has something - maybe 25% of Hawas for Him (the old one) in it and I think the base or the skeleton is made of that. But it has less sweetness and a stronger focus on freshness.

The Hawas for Him, as well as the Hawas Ice consist of 95% and more synthetic content and I would be one of the first to run away. I know many fragrances that work with very unattractive synthetics such as the Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette + Club de Nuit Sillage Eau de Parfum etc. and especially with the Arab clone houses such as Armaf, Afnan, Swiss Arabians and co. this is usually really unpleasant = possibly also due to the price (cheap) ... who knows!
What I would like to say is that the synthetics used here in Hawas for Him + Hawas Ice don't bother me as much. Sometimes it acts like an ENORMOUSLY POTENT refreshing DEO.
Keyword POTENT:
For this category is almost unreal good. Many refreshing, cultivated and professional fragrances such as Percival or today's Aventus leave us after 5h or 6h and the Hawas Ice grins discreetly, so 8h, 9h, 10h or sometimes even a little more are absolutely normal and some very expensive houses can cut themselves more than a slice!
But the Hawas Ice has something else about it that it has probably picked up from its brother and that is its "complaisance". It is almost "annoying°" how well it is received and this over and over again..., sometimes I take 600€ or 1000€+ fragrances and they don't go down so well... At the end of the day, this thing doesn't bother me so much, but I know that there are some people for whom this is very important.
I can't say anything about certain batches or batches and the possibly fluctuating performance, as I've only had my 5ml sample so far.
But I will say this... i am a niche lover and I stand by that (!), but I also like my 21'er Hawas for Him very much and since my sample has convinced me, I will definitely buy a bottle one day!
