A declaration of love to the family
Iris has always been a highly valued raw material in perfumery. So who better to dedicate such a precious raw material to than the family.
Célia Lerouge-Bénard, the current 5th generation head of the Molinard family and the Molinard perfume house, has dedicated this fragrance to her daughter.
Celia had already dedicated fragrances to various family members before, both with the Private Collection and the perfume Bambou, and now Iris.
Iris is a very subtle and delicate fragrance with iris at its core. Most of the magic is in the top note, which is truly enchanting.
Overall, I can confirm that this fragrance would suit a young woman well. A little more strength would certainly have done the fragrance good, but perhaps that was exactly the aim. A fragrance that represents a young woman growing up, delicate and sweet but with the potential to grow beyond herself.
I find it really beautiful and a wonderful declaration of love to her daughter.
