Until the index finger goes limp....

Yet another fragrance from La Rive! So far, I have hardly been disappointed by this brand, which is usually found on the shelves of drugstores. And here, too, the price/performance index strikes mercilessly.
My general opinion: anyone expecting an original Chanel fragrance for just under €8/100ml belongs in an "institution" anyway!
But it goes without saying that I had sore muscles in my left index finger....why?
Well...my usual 4-5 sprays were hardly enough to notice this cheapie even in the medium term when I first wore it. So on my second attempt, I decided to keep pressing the spray head until I felt numbness in my index finger. And lo and behold: there it is! I hardly needed 20 sprays to create a really beautiful veil around me. In the Christmas-decorated office, compliments poured in immediately! "What, at this price?" marveled a colleague as he nibbled on a piece of Christmas cake.
The fragrance: The opening is naturally citrusy and fresh...almost like I know it from the "original". It certainly smells a little pungent and synthetic...but other - much more expensive - fragrances "do" that too, so for me it's not a criterion for exclusion. After a good hour (yes...it was still there), I noticed a much greener note. Slightly earthy... and I imagine I recognized a pinch of vetiver. Later, this impression was rounded off positively by a pleasant slide into a sweet powderiness. A good 6 hours had now passed since my scented shower and I still feel clean and refreshed.
Conclusion: Solid Cheapie-Freshie for people with strong finger muscles.

Absolute sport is a very good alternative to Allure homme sport smells almost identical for the price simply top.

The durability is like the original rather discreet but 5-6 hours packs the already there I do not understand the other reviews where some say after 30 minutes would be over.
Anyone who criticizes the performance here would have to sink into the ground with Chanel if you take the price difference into account.

All in all a top fragrance at a low price.

Insane cheapie! The bottle-turned "skinny b*tch cocktail"

For me, the fragrance is a 1-to-1 copy of a just-mixed, good "skinny b*tch" cocktail. Why are you wondering?

The top note starts with pure lime. And not cheap lime juice from the nearest Lidl supermarket, but the best imitation of a ripe, freshly cut lime that I have ever come across: sour, slightly tart, fresh and clean, so that your mouth is almost watering! Not a trace of synthetics and toilet stone (even numerous mid- and high-priced fragrances can, no, MUST, take a leaf out of my book here).

There is also a minimal alcoholic note that hangs in the air for a long time. However, anyone thinking of cheap booze or rubbing alcohol is completely wrong! Instead, it has much more in common with a good, mild vodka distilled from grain.
I even seem to sense the sparkling carbonic acid of the sparkling water, minimally tart and metallic, but extremely pleasant and harmonious.
In summary: fresh, clean and deliciously citrusy-tart.

The heart note becomes more masculine and is reminiscent of a slightly tart, fresh shaving cream. However, it is more of a sophisticated variety. The "skinny b*tch" continues to sparkle, but recedes a little more into the background.

The base ends with a calm citric note. Like the last drops in an almost empty glass, not much more exciting happens here, but it doesn't have to.

So what is the final conclusion? All in all, I am left somewhat stunned.

The olfactory "painting" I was offered here cannot really be described for the price. I bought the perfume plus shower gel for a total of €6.95. Even if the durability and sillage are below average and the fragrance lasts 3-4 hours on me (but this is consistently well perceptible), the price-performance ratio is unbeatable.

I've already tested a few La Rive perfumes that ranged from "no one needs" (Extreme Story ) to "can do something" (LЯ Password ), but Absolute Sport blows everything away!
So do yourself a favor and test this fragrance! Ideally with the matching cocktail in the other hand ;).

The Gym King from the Polish market

My name may be Dupeking, but La Rive is not what I'm after. But let's focus today on the only La Rive I've actually picked up and why. I'm a fan of the original and also of Missoni Wave, which also goes in that direction. And since I'm too "pussy" and store my perfumes as if they were liquid gold, I could never just pack them in my backpack and go to the gym. You need these "cheap dupes" for that. So now to the fragrance, which comes in a horrible bottle that makes you feel like you've just picked it up from the Polish market. It starts off alcoholic like many "cheap dupes", but quickly becomes citrusy and aquatic. You have to hand it to La Rive, they really nail the scents in the top notes. It smells super fresh of orange, mandarin and a touch of blood orange and grapefruit. There is no battle of the notes. But the fragrance in general is awesome, there's no other way to put it. Unfortunately, the surprisingly great top note fades super quickly. But the fragrance is still great: fruity, tart, acidic, fresh. Not a designer, of course, but a great DNA. But you can already tell that this is not the best quality. I hardly know of any other fragrance that goes from phase one straight to phase three so quickly. There was virtually no middle, you have to manage that first :D. Other dupe manufacturers definitely do this better. Despite all this, the remaining match is still pleasant and delicious. The criticized durability is definitely a shortcoming. So spraying it on in the morning and getting through the day is not. It's not as excessively bad as some people say here, but it's not great. But for a fiver you can just take the Polish market bottle with you. It's a great fragrance to take to the gym. Or that you spray on before you go shopping, or for short errands. That's its niche, that's where it's strong. And that's exactly why I bought it. I also like to use it as a room spray. You pack it, it's not too bad, and it easily lasts for two to three hours and delivers. And for the price, top! I wouldn't just apply it and recommend it, there are better alternatives. But a clear recommendation for athletes. And even if it is a Cheapie, which of course has weaknesses, it earns the 8.5 here without any fuss My number one for pumping!

Inexpensive, but absolutely subterranean durability

I also tested the fragrance based on a YouTube review. So, I sprayed on the fragrance, smelled it and first checked whether I had really sprayed it, as the fragrance evaporated within a very short time. I've never experienced anything like it, but the fragrance really has an extremely short shelf life. I can well imagine that you spray it on and when you walk out the door 5 minutes later you can hardly smell anything, not even close to the skin.

The design is a disaster for me, you shouldn't expect anyone to wear it, but ok... maybe it would be something for the sports bag,...but even for that it wasn't enough for me. It's just too weak for that. Too bad!
