The gentle blend of aventus, hacivat and ani with a hint of vanilla
Imperium by Electimuss is certainly one of the unknowns when it comes to the "Aventus inspired" fragrance. "Aventus inspired" sounds at first disrespectful, unoriginal and boring, but this fragrance manages what many of the others before him have not: He is a meaningful development of the basic formula.

While Orion, Hacivat, Explorer, Esencia (All from my point of view great fragrances) a new component in the top note and want to stand out and Club de Nuit Intense and L'Aventure are rather favorable images, the Imperium goes a new way. Through the heart notes of oud and vanilla, it softens the otherwise sharp top note and manages to create a unique aura just in the course of the fragrance, which I have not yet been allowed to smell so.

The almost addictive drydown stands out clearly from the brother with the smoky pineapple and is much milder, less intrusive but no less demanding. But enough of Aventus, because besides the top note, which comes across much more citrus (Sure, is also bergamot and coriander with in it, goes more in the direction of Hacivat) the two share no common ground.

Imperium has a great concept and has the reputation of a Doupes definitively not deserved. The fragrance is so thought out and polished that you can immediately tell that an absolute professional was at work. This concept is also reflected in the great packaging and the bottle, which comes against every expectation unspeakably heavy and noble. The perfume gives one from opening the package to the application to the really good (although not excellent, but that fits then again into the concept) durability an unspeakable feeling of luxury and charm.

Imperium is for me a hidden champion for the colder summer days, autumn and the occasions on which you want to stand out. I recommend it to test this fragrance absolutely the whole day and not only the top note to evaluate, because just in the 3 Dimensionalen fragrance development is the magic of this wonderful perfume.

EDIT: I don't know if it's just me but in the drydown I smell a certain similarity to Rojas Enigma (a fragrance I adore). I assume this comes from the vanilla in conjunction with the bergamot. The scents smell definitv not the same but share similarities.

I can't quite understand the good reviews...
I received my filling of Imperium today. I was really very excited again, what awaits me there. Imperium is really very well rated and also on YouTube I have already heard a lot to Imperium, especially the similarity to Aventus was a frequently addressed point.

On the subject of Aventus: I don't think Imperium resembles Aventus at all. I see a resemblance more to Nishane Hacivat with some Mancera Cedrat Bois added, but without leather. However, this blend does not give any resemblance to Aventus. Imperium is also significantly sweeter than Aventus.

The scent itself: Imperium is fruity and fresh, which I quite like, although I don't 100% like the vanilla that kicks in after 20-30 minutes. After about 2-3 hours, the base note slowly comes to the fore. Here begins at least for me the reason why I do not find Imperium so great: Imperium contains some musk which I find unpleasant here. Normally this doesn't bother me so much, but in combination with the amber and the vanilla it gives a rather low quality impression. This impression now prevails throughout the rest of about 7-8 hours. The base note makes unfortunately after 5-6 hours already 70-80% of the fragrance. The whole smells for me simply not balanced and not well created. The base note unfortunately disturbs the beautiful top and base notes.

The durability is really very good. I can Imperium after now over 10 hours still perceive well and the silage is initially also strong something about an arm's length is but after about 4 hours already increasingly skin.
As a conclusion, anyone looking for an Aventus should take distance from Imperium, because Imperium is not an Aventus and fans of Hacivat will miss the pineapple here. Imperium should be considered as an independent fragrance, under these aspects, a purchase may certainly make sense. For me, unfortunately, not, because I did not really like the fragrance because of the unaromatic base note.

Great fusion of two fragrance DNAs
I have no idea where this hype has suddenly come from, as this Imperium has been on the market since 2019. I only became aware of this item this year. Many people didn't carry this brand before. I wasn't aware of this British brand until the hype about this Imperium broke out.
Bought this year. 100ml are really not cheap, which you can already guess from the bottle. Huge, very heavy and simply one of the most beautiful bottles on the market. They are even more beautiful in real life and feel great in the hand. The large box is also very heavy and extremely attractive. I also think the sprayer is one of the best on the market. Convinced already.

As I said, a little hype has arisen around this fragrance this year. It's already being talked about a lot. No wonder. Fragrances that go roughly in the Aventus direction are somehow always being talked about. Especially here, because this Aventus-like freshness meets a great sweetness like you find in Nishane Ani. You can already read it in the statements: Aventus & Ani. This sums it up quite well. If you like these two fragrance DNA's and would like to mix both: Here it is. The quality of the fragrance notes is already very high. It is also slightly reminiscent of Cedrat Boise, which also starts fresh and becomes sweeter as it progresses. However, I find this Imperium even more sophisticated.
Immediately after spraying it on, Aventus comes to mind, even if it is still a long way off. This DNA simply haunts you and almost every brand has a fragrance in this style. There's no pineapple & birch here, but bergamot and coriander have that similar vibe. Vanilla from the base kicks in very early. With the herbaceous coriander, this vanilla is very reminiscent of Ani. I don't find the floral notes from the heart note very present, but they could contribute to this smooth DNA. The drydown is very woody + a little spice and the vanilla, which is perceptible over the entire course.
I don't detect any oud, but it has a great woody spiciness.
All in all, for me it's half an Aventus Ani clone, which was probably created subconsciously. For me, it's a great mix of two DNAs that harmonize perfectly. The compliment factor could even be higher than with Aventus, if that is important to you. This non-sticky sweetness is sure to find many fans.
Performance is really good. Significantly better than the current batches of Aventus. This Imperium should last 8 hours with good sillage over a few hours. Absolutely OK and perfect for everyday wear. Due to its sweetness, however, it is not a bad companion for the evening either. All in all, an all-rounder that always works despite vanilla.

Conclusion: Nothing really new on the market. It will certainly get a lot of hate in addition to the hype, but for me it's a worthwhile alternative. Anyone who likes Aventus and Ani should try this one.

This needs more attention
What a beautiful scent it is! It is strange that nobody talks about it more.
There are lots of vanilla and this scent is about this note. However, it's fresh and flowery more than gourmand.
People compare it to Creed Aventus for men, and I can honestly say that it has the vibe. However, only at the opening. And Imperium is totally unisex, to my mind, whereas I could never see Aventus on a woman.
As the scent develops on the skin, it becomes a little greener, but just a little, just a hint. And the vanilla is present all the time, for me at least. This vanilla reminds me of another popular fragrance – Ani from Nishane. So I would call Imperium a beautiful child of Aventus and Ani. Yet, it is a different scent on its own, and definitely worth trying.
The performance of this scent is perfect. It stays on the skin for hours, it projects, it will stick to clothes. It's really addictive and I would call it one of my favorite discoveries of 2020.

The Tagesschau: Empire
So, it's that time again! A day at the office and another nice fragrance is tested for the day, but not for the first time!
Today it was Imperium for me, which has great parallels to Aventus and remains in my memory.

So I grabbed the bottle and applied the fragrance, by the way, you can easily hammer nails into the wall or hold any door open with the bottle.
Shortly after applying it, I immediately got a familiar DNA in my nose, from the aforementioned fragrance - Aventus.
But, here with a certain twist and its own charm, it is immediately sweetish and not as citrusy-fresh as the previously mentioned fragrance. I also perceive this slightly harsh, almost smoky scent like Creed, but not as intense.
This fragrance stays in my head all day long, as the Imperium Extrait de Parfum has really great longevity, and it remains beautiful for the first few hours.
It's a nice mix, I would say about 70-80% the basic DNA of Creed, 10-20% sweet notes (here in the form of the beautiful vanilla + sweet saffron) and the remaining percentages give me bright, floral notes.
Accordingly, ideal for me for the transition period from winter to summer!
So I'm in the office and have actually been complimented on how good I smell - the scent trail behind me is subtle but present. So it's ideal for the office so as not to overwhelm noses ;)
The aforementioned mix actually accompanies me for most of the day, pretty much unchanged, but this present Creed-like DNA pops out here and there, which actually makes me feel good and puts a smile on my face every time.
But over time, these "spurts" diminish, the fragrance settles a little more linearly on the skin and yet remains present - only from that point on, this wonderful vanilla emerges. I agree with the one or other review or some statements here - like the vanilla from Ani Extrait de Parfum, only much softer and not as strong.
This mix, now approx. 60% Aventus, 30% Ani Extrait de Parfum and 10% light, floral notes (for me at least) now remains on the skin and no longer changes.

To summarize, I was a bit reluctant to wear Imperium Extrait de Parfum at first, but the more I wear it, the more complex it becomes and the more beautiful it becomes for me! For anyone out there looking for an actual (for me) alternative to Aventus !"! Because the Imperium Extrait de Parfum does not try to be like or the next Aventus, but makes its own fragrance from a part of the DNA, which can be compared but only up to a certain point. This is a sweeter, less fresh-tart version with a small, but subtle, proportion of floral notes.
Really worth a test!

Many thanks for your time, should you have made it this far! :)

Another "Aventus" inspired with a hint of vanilla, going into Ani territory, but done very poorly. Another of those "luxury" houses

100% clone of Nishane Ani or Ani is 100% clone of Imperium. Ani is better blended, dissapointed. If you have Ani, you don't need Imperium.
