My memory of this was about 30 years ago, but when I smelled L'Impératrice for the first time, the "chant" that I heard about 100 times as a child on a beach vacation in Spain immediately popped into my head:
"Melonamelonamelona, Vitaminaminamina, La Potencia! Melonamelonamelona, vitaminaminamina ..."
The fragrance is extremely fruity, fortunately not too sweet, more of a watery sweetness. Certainly only suitable for summer and I find it too much thanks to melon overkill, but really something special!
