It might be nonsense, but I'm often testing this and comparing it to the beloved Atlantic Ambergris II.
I'm sure AK can't replace ALD, but for Atlantic lovers, good news for me, the vibes can be there.
Atlantic is spicy, ethereal, deep and red. Mineral parts combined with resins make it a masterpiece of modern perfumery.
Amber kiso is darker, dirty and leathery but with an amber in the background worthy of being smelled.
Can I tell you they look alike? no, but that have similar vibrations yes.

I find this formula successful in this collection. The start is animalic and my nose perceives a sweetish note as if it were hay, very pleasant. The scent is dark but not too dark, with undertones of birch tar (very far from CdR), which I find to be a tamer...
