Hm...

I'm not a fan of musk in general, especially the citrus-musk combination. Silver's (supposedly) refreshing character leaves me indifferent. However, I've got a bigger issue with Silver Mountain Water. Or two. Or three.

The worst: I sprayed it a few times over the course of a couple of weeks, and I don't remember how it smells. You know how some perfumes, you smelled them once 10 years ago, and they stick with you for years? Not because of the emotions they invoke, but purely because of their smell? This one... I forget its scent the day after. Now, I would recognize it if we played a test and guess game, but there's something about it that it simply doesn't stick. It really is cold and unusual as it's often described.

Secondly, when I smell the bottle cap, I dig it much more than when I actually spray it.

And finally, it's a really weak scent. I wonder if anyone has tried it 20 years ago? I just can't imagine it being so weak in an era when perfumes lasted longer than today.

I'm genuinely surprised by the widespread appeal of this one. Not because of my personal feelings toward it, but because I don't see any elements that would typically garner mass appeal. In its essence, Silver is supposed to be an acquired taste.
