Like a pretty girl that you'll never have
She instantly captures your attention, she may even bless you with her presence, you might find yourself sharing brief moments with her, but she'll never be yours.

Summer Vibes will never be yours because it simply disappears on a whim. It's a brief encounter at best. We are talking minutes here boys, not hours.

If you like the Light Blue DNA as much as I do, you will regret this fact since it is perhaps the nicest smelling of all of them. I prefer Italian Love, but that one is not similar to other Light Blue flankers. The funny thing is, Summer Vibes is actually quite potent right after you spray it. Just remember, it won't last.

The bottle- oh my gosh. Find me a more beautiful one. I see all those collections their owners like to boast about, but I never see this one on their shelves. Yes, it's not a popular fragrance, but the bottle alone merits being added to your collection. If nothing else, to shatter the monotony of all those boring men's dark, or often tacky gold/silver bottles.

Take this girl's body as a consolation, you won't have her soul. Don't blame yourself, she doesn't have it.

It's a Late Spring & Summer Wear, But Not to Shabby
I'd say This a reformulating of the OG with some Hints of: Eau Intense and Italian Love in there. I wouldn't call it terrible nor spectacular either. Kinda what I expected, but when in warm/high heat it pops & is actually damn good. Didn't get to use it much before the weather changed & I got this on an Amazing deal thru Macys last year & paid less than a discounter. I will be definitely giving it wear this spring & summer.

My mother's porcelain plates
Hi guys, today I'm writing about the latest summery men's fragrance from Dolce&Gabbana: Light Blue pour Homme Summer Vibes. It came out this year (i.e. 2023) and immediately caught my eye due to the eye-catching painting on the bottle and even reminded me of other things, like my mother's old plates, which also had such a blue painting and which were eventually discarded in the garden of horrors.

Why the garden of horrors? Well, friends of ours used to have a small garden that didn't look very well-kept because it was constantly being abandoned. And everyone had stored their old things there that were no longer needed, like the aforementioned plates from my mother, who had actually meant well so that there would be more plates in the garden. Before the garden was completely abandoned, there was still a hut there that was really rotten. Just imagine the whole thing as one of those totally dirty and dilapidated huts from horror films, where psychopathic types lure and hold their victims captive and talk something about "it rubs the lotion on its skin" or something, and no, by lotion they certainly don't mean some great cosmetic cream or something...! And then they tie up their victims, go to a cupboard, take out a bottle and spray it on the victim to torture them terribly, terribly, because the bottles contain death scents like Black Orchid by Tom Ford or, even worse, Love Coconut by We love NY or something like that (yes,... you have to try it, uuuuhhhh!!!)... where you really suffocate! d

Anyway, I think I've digressed enough, so back to the scent! I just wanted to point out that the pattern on the bottle of this fragrance reminded me of my mother's old plates! Whew... I'm really rambling! :D

But now to the fragrance! Yes, it's a summer fragrance and I tried it in summer too, but somehow I just didn't get around to posting this review here. Which is finally happening now!

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts with citrusy and therefore quite refreshing notes. This is really good in the hot summer, as is the case with most citrus fragrances. It may not really come into its own in winter, when I'm finally presenting the fragrance here, especially when it's so cold that even my cats don't really want to go out, but I'm sure you know what I mean. I tried the fragrance in late summer so that it could really unfold when I tested it.
Okay, next I smell peach... yes, the fragrance is also fruity, but the peach seems quite synthetic to me. Or maybe the fragrance has more synthetic notes that gradually come to the fore and overpower the other notes a little.
Later on, there is a light, woody touch, slightly sweet scents and, surprisingly, citrus notes (although these are best perceived only when smelling very close to the skin). Of course, there is also a bit of the aforementioned synthetics, which fortunately are no longer as strong as in the middle section, but still remain until the end of the fragrance and blend with woody notes in the base. However, I had the feeling that the synthetic notes became stronger again at the end. In general, the end is only mediocre without anything striking about it that would make the fragrance easily recognizable. For me, this makes the fragrance rather irrelevant for the most part. It's still nice, but the synthetics, which return later at the end and are then stronger again, bother me a little.

The sillage and the longevity:
The radiance is mediocre. Sure, the sillage is quite good at the beginning due to the refreshing fragrance notes, but then the radiance quickly diminishes, as is unfortunately the case with most citrus fragrances. And as is typical for summer fragrances, you should assume that it will not last very long. After four to five hours, most of it has evaporated. Although 4-5 hours is quite good for a summer fragrance.

The bottle:
The bottle is slightly round or bulbous, white and has a beautiful blue plant pattern on it, which makes the bottle a real eye-catcher as it stands out from many other bottles. The lid is cylindrical and both chrome-plated and white in color. There is no label, the name is printed directly on the bottle instead. All in all, the bottle is very successful and very beautiful. Strangely enough, I find that this bottle looks more feminine than the women's fragrance version, which in turn looks more masculine with its rectangular design.

Conclusion:
Well... I think the fragrance could have been a somewhat trivial, but still nice summer fragrance. Basically, it's nice, but I don't like the somewhat cheap, synthetic aura that emanates quite strongly from time to time, especially towards the end. Therefore, I would almost say that the fragrance is not worth the beautiful bottle.

As you have probably noticed, the fragrance was intended for the summer, as a refresher that only fulfills its purpose to a limited extent. It's not really suitable for going out either, so I can't really recommend the fragrance for testing. Perhaps other Light Blue fragrances from Dolce & Gabbana are better, but I'm not yet familiar enough with them to be able to write anything reliable here. In any case, a friend said that the women's version of the fragrance is much nicer!

So this fragrance would disappear into oblivion somewhere... maybe on a dilapidated shelf in the garden of horrors mentioned at the beginning... although... the bottle is already an eye-catcher, so it could still be interesting for collectors of beautiful bottles, especially if it's on sale or here from the souk.

And that's it from me again! I wish you all a nice evening, see you next time :)

Alberto Morillas once again delivers nothing more than your average, boring, generic mall fragrance. He’s out of ideas.

Very simple and linear, but also quite modern, likeable and masculine. Versatility is very good. Mostly just citrus and woods.
