It was an adventure for me

I had first heard about the scent in a YT video...when I was planning my USA California road trip I bought this scent - I have to say that before every road trip I choose a scent that accompanies me on this road trip to create memories - the first time I sprayed it on in the morning after showering in Long Beach...and yes...wow...it delivered exactly what I imagined and wanted for this trip. That fresh spicy slightly aquatic, perfect to apply after the shower. The scent is clearly perceptible on my skin for a good 5 hours, on the shirt around 7 hours. I love the bottle! Simple, yet nice, and it fits mega in the hand, can be stowed away very well because it is quite narrow. The fragrance was such a good fit for this trip...I'm glad I chose it. And as always, I now have great memories afterwards when I apply this fragrance. I celebrate it.

Adore It

I absolutely adore Coach Open Road. While it smells fresh, citrusy and aquatic on a test strip, that scent couldn't be more different on my skin. The cologne works with my skin chemistry in a way that turns Open Road into a woody, earthy, sweet, aromatic, and ever so spicy scent that is reminiscent of a more intimate version of Mind Games Gambit to my nose. Open Road being an Eau De Toilette causes it to sit a bit more intimately on my skin. Gambit is one of my favorite fragrances of all time so I love the way this smells. This cologne projects much less than Gambit since the latter is an Extrait De Parfum, however I can't deny that this works with my skin so well that it has become my signature for the summer. I adore the way Open Road smells. I've had it on my skin for about 3 hours now and it still smells just as great as when I first applied it on my skin, granted I did spray it about 10 times after testing it on my wrist to see how I liked the cologne as I had only smelled it on a strip before purchasing it. At the discounter price of $30 I find Open Road to be an absolute steal that shouldn't go unnoticed! It's an excellent fragrance!

Its better than D&G "K"

I remember when I first got "K" edp by D&G & said..."This nice & woody with a citrusy blood orange background" .....
And after about 1 day I said, no its a big old SOAPY-woody fragrance that doesn't have much depth....
I am no longer a fan of it, atleast for the time being....

Moving on, I find out Coach has this fragrance called Open Road & it's been described as smelling a lot like K but a little fruitier. & that made me hesitant to actually buy it but I seen the price tag & said, "oh what the hell" it's cheap. I got it & thought this is better than K
I see the resemblance, but yes fruitier, smoother & more pleasant. It isn't so aggressively "Soapy", I dnt know why but I can't stand that & in this fragrance is much smoother. It may be the combination of the red apple, citrus & lavender but it is better to me for being way cheaper.

I'd wear this on a Saturday, in the spring or summer when I'm running errands and wanna spray a buncha of something fresh/pleasant & easy to wear on me. While I'm running errands on the "open road". It's perfect for work, the gym or just hanging out at the house. It really does work in a lot of situations but it doesn't project very loud at all, you'll catch slight whiffs, better to hit the pulse points & the cloths as much as you can.
