For me, more strange than successful
Unfortunately, I and Admiral Eau de Toilette have not become friends. For me, the whole thing smells rather strange than beautiful. I think it's the verbena that I don't like so much. The fragrance mentions fresh and aquatic notes. Unfortunately, I didn't get that impression. The longevity is okay at around 6 to 8 hours and the sillage is in the medium range.
The top note starts off greenish-herbaceous with aromas of verbena, lemongrass and subtle smoke. The heart note still smells very green and herbaceous to me thanks to sage and a little marjoram. A creamy sweetness emerges in the base, which reminds me of tonka beans, bourbon vanilla and a little amber. Musk also resonates without creating an animalic quality.
It didn't remind me of the sea or salt either. Sometimes it just doesn't work out with fragrances. I also find the fragrance rather unisex. Nevertheless, I would like to thank dear Jana for the bottling :-)
