The fat one - or: How an impossible perfume convinced me
No. 18 and I, we were not meant for each other. From a dear Parfumista and Chanel addict I got a bottling - at the same time as the Eau de Cologne, from which I was enraptured, and the Le Lion - but this one has only caused me to shake my head.
When I test at home, I do not first fuddle around in the air or with paper - no risk, no fun, ne? So straight onto the forearm.
My reaction process:
Pharmacy?? - - Grappa?? - - who does this to themselves!!!?! My forearm couldn't be far enough away from my face, but what can you do? It's attached, after all, and washing it off directly doesn't make you any smarter. So I continued to engage in the ulkige 18.
My forearm then came closer to my face in stages. - - Hay. - - Playground .... or you know that smell of wood preservative they use on the palisades and climbing parts? And if then in midsummer the sun on it bangs, in addition, the outdoor and adventure feeling, or so similar to Phantasialand, the wooden Wild West department?
After I cleared that olfactory hurdle (about 5-6 minutes), I was rewarded for my bravery: what blogger Super Dacob calls the "Poetry of Chanel" unfolded. All I could think was "BLUUMÄÄ!!! and couldn't get enough of my forearm.
Whenever I was bored, I would spray it on and have a good time. The tester was then almost empty, and because of my Kommis EssenceVitae colleague Martin offered me his almost full 200 ml canister at a ridiculous price. I couldn't say no, and just two days later, a chunky piece of this freaky scent arrived at my house, my first full-blown of the Les Exclusifs (I've only ever dealt with trial samples, bottlings and minis). Now there it sits, the fat one, in my Chanel bag. All the family members were forced to try the magnetic lid. And they had to hold it in their hands - look how heavy it is! It was silly posed and photographed (see my album), commented on, and because of it, I am acquiring a syringe to fill up for on the go. I always take my daytime scent with me in my purse, but I'd chafe my neck with that fatty (I wear cross body).
Yesterday I showed it off to my husband - with the full amusement mong in the scent. By the way, I think this bluumäää in the drydown is very similar to the beige.
Yes, the fat man and I - we have fun together. Maybe we were THAT meant for each other .....
=:-)
